Chapter 25

Hercules POV

It's been about three months. The group is normal. We haven't had any problems with Thomas which is really good. I've been sewing a lot. I've been making baby blankets, clothes, etc. Lafayette and I moved into our new house. We set up the baby's room. The squad came over and helped us move and build the crib. Damn. Cribs are hard to put together. It took all of us to put it together. Lafayette and I are getting married on Valentines Day next year. Time has been going by so fast. We are now at the end of November ( I'm not paying attention to time. The time periods are going to be wrong.). Alexander has been writing a lot but still makes time for John and all of us.

" Mon amour. Wake up." Lafayette said shaking me.
" Babe. It's 1:00 in the morning. What do you need?" I said sitting up.
" We have to go." He said looking me in the eyes.
" Oh my God! Okay! I'll get the keys. Let's go." I said.
We got in the car and started to drive to the hospital. ( Ahhhhhh I'm so excited!) As we were driving, Laf grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
" Herc...Can you drive a little faster?" He asked me while closing his eyes.
I nodded my head and stepped on the gas pedal a little harder. We got to the hospital and as the nurses were taking Lafayette to a room, I called the group. I hung up after telling them everything and followed Laf into the room.

An hour later our baby was born. She was so beautiful. Lafayette was looking at her and softly crying.
" Hercules...this is our baby..." He said.
I started crying too.
" She looks beautiful. Our baby...I love you both so much." I said while looking at Lafayette and our baby.
We stayed silent while looking at her until the doctor came in.
" Hey guys." She said.
" So, your friends are here. I just wanted you guys to know. I also wanted to tell you that we would like to keep you guys here for two days just to be safe. Nothing is wrong. Your baby is completely fine. It's just better to keep you guys for a little bit longer. Do you want me to send your friends in now or...?" She trailed off.
" You can send them in." Lafayette said.
" Okay. I'll be back shortly with the birth certificate." She said, smiled, and walked out the door.
A few seconds later the group was slowly walking in the room.
" Hey guys." I said.
" Hey." They all said at the same time.
" She's so cute." Eliza said.
" Thank you." Lafayette said.
" Eliza. Do you want to hold her?" Laf said.
" Of course." She said and Lafayette handed her the baby.
After almost everyone held her...it was Alexander's turn.

John's POV

I slowly handed the baby to Alex. As soon as she was put in his arms, she had all of his attention. Alexander really loves kids. He just stared at her while smiling. I was watching both of them with a smile on my face. Peggy came over and nudged me. I looked at her and she gave me the look and pointed at Alex.
" Alex looks like he's getting a case of baby fever." She said.
" Oh no. I hope not. I'm not ready for a kid. Not yet at least." I said while still looking at them.
" Hey. I'm just saying. He has that look in his eyes." She said and then walked back to Maria.
" John. I want one." Alex said while handing her back to Lafayette.
" Not yet, Alex." I said.
He smiled at me.
" Okay." He said and came back and hugged me.

Lafayette's POV

After Alexander handed my baby back to me, the doctor came in with the birth certificate. She wrote everything down and then got to the name.
" Okay. And her name?" She asked.
Hercules and I looked at each other.
" Princess Marie Rose Mulligan de Lafayette" We said at the same time.
