Chapter 27

*two days later*

Lafayette's POV

I got out of the hospital yesterday. Princess and I are doing fine. Everyone is obsessed with her. She has my skin color, black curly hair, and blue eyes. Every baby is born with blue eyes but hers are becoming lighter and not changing to brown or black. We think she's going to have blue eyes. ( like mine. I'll show a picture of eyes that are close to mine.) She sleeps through the night which is good. She smiles all the time.
I stood up and walked to Princess' room. When I walked in she was laying in her crib and playing with her hands. As soon as she saw me, she smiled.
" Good morning, Princess." I said and smiled back at her, making her smile bigger.
" Daddy is still asleep. Let's go make him breakfast." I said and picked her up.
I walked to the kitchen and held Princess while I made eggs.
Look at me! Multitasking!!!
I finished making the eggs and set them on the table. I walked with Princess to go wake up Herc. I sat down next to him still holding Princess. He slowly woke up and sat up. He smiled when he saw me and Princess.
" Good morning." He said and reached for Princess.
" Good morning." I said as I handed Princess to him.
" I made food." I said to him as he looked at our daughter with loving eyes.
" Thanks, babe." He said as he looked up and kissed me.
" You're welcome." I said and smiled as we walked to the kitchen.
After we finished breakfast, I held Princess and sat down. Herc came and sat next to me.
" We both have classes so I was thinking that we should bring her to our first class which is with Washington. That's Peggy's only class today so I was thinking that she could babysit." I said.
" Yeah. I was thinking the same thing." Herc said.
We got ready, made sure that we had everything and then we went to class.
