"ι ℓονє γου."

The words slipped out of Soonyoung's mouth without him thinking and the moment he did, he wants them to go back because now, Jihoon was quiet by his spot in front of the glass window. His eyes were still glued to him but he immediately turned away, his eyes casted down to the floor.

Soonyoung had clamped his hand over his mouth and had internally screamed to himself.

Why the fuck would he let those words out of his mouth? He fucking confessed at the wrong time! Jihoon may still have not realized his feelings yet and he would feel uncomfortable around Soonyoung!

Wrong move, Soonyoung. Why would he let his emotions take control of his being? Why did Jihoon have to look stunning from just standing there alone, doing nothing? Why would Jihoon do this to him?

It was silent. It was obvious. Jihoon had slowly went back to his seat across Soonyoung and avoided his gaze, refusing to meet his eyes and Soonyoung knew that he seriously fucked this up.

For the rest of the ride, the two never conversed a thing.

Jihoon was still giving him the silent treatment, never opening his mouth for once. He even found the ground much more interesting to look at. Soonyoung frowned, regret obviously all over his face.

He shouldn't have really confessed earlier. It seemed like it was too soon since they've only known each other for a month or two? They're probably not even that close for him to just say those simple yet powerful words that could definitely change their relationship in an instant.

So, Soonyoung decided to keep his mouth shut and not say a word as well.

He sighed as he stopped walking. Jihoon did and actually looked up to stare at him. Soonyoung wasn't looking back.

"You know what I said earlier?" no response, but he noticed Jihoon looking down again and he felt a pang in his chest. Oh, how he hated the feeling. It feels pain and he hates it.

Soonyoung inhaled through his nose and exhaled through his mouth, finally daring himself to look at his soulmate, eyes locked to the down casted head.

"Forget about it." He noticed Jihoon's head twitch a little, but then he continued to look down and Soonyoung felt like he's doing the wrong thing right there. Like he shouldn't be saying these stuffs at all. Still, he continued.

"I actually don't know why I said those and why I would even. I just... lost myself, I guess?"

Jihoon still wasn't speaking.

"I mean, what I said earlier? That you're beautiful and all? I really mean those and I couldn't help but just fall in love more—oh, shit! I said it again..." Soonyoung hit his head a few times, clicking his tongue as his frown started to grow on his face.
