Jihoon giggled as Soonyoung pressed his thumbs over his open palms, drawing circles on it to massage them but only resulted to tickling Jihoon. Soonyoung pulled them into his lips and gingerly planted a kiss on each of his fingers that left a butterfly feeling in the smaller's tummy.

Soonyoung looked into his eyes.

"I'm really sorry." He whispered, his eyes casting down in sorrow. Jihoon frowned.

"I already told you," Jihoon cupped Soonyoung's cheeks and pulled his face up to look at him. "It's okay. I forgive you. Just..." he drifted to his words.

"Just don't d-do it again..." he stuttered which broke Soonyoung's heart. "Please..."

Soonyoung putted Jihoon's chin between his thumb and index finger and tilted his head up before he leant in and slanted his lips over his. Jihoon hummed into the kiss, standing on his tip-toes to kiss him back.

"I won't. This time, I'm keeping my promise." Soonyoung bumped their foreheads together and looked into his eyes, captivating Jihoon once again.

Jihoon scoffed. "You better. Or else—" the midget hit his shoulder and Soonyoung yelped in pain.

"Why'd you do that!"

"You'll get harder than that if you leave me again, I swear." Jihoon warned, scrunching his nose at him. Soonyoung's pain vanished and he was laughing, his hands searching for Jihoon's and intertwining their fingers together.

"What's so funny?" Jihoon frowned, his eyebrows meeting in confusion. Soonyoung shook his head.

"You're just cute." He pulled the smaller closer and placed a kiss on his forehead.

"I missed you..."

Jihoon's hum was muffled in Soonyoung's chest.

Silence overtook the two of them, staying just like that, leaning on the wall to their sides while they ignored the nurses and doctors passing by with a couple of patients glancing their way every now and then.

"Hey, love birds," they turned to look behind Jihoon and they found Junhui in the corner, smirking at the two of them. "Time to go."

Soonyoung reluctantly pulled away from his boyfriend but still had their hands connected, never seeming to let go and Jihoon squeezed the hand in comfort, leading Jihoon towards the entrance of the hospital.

Soonyoung was discharged from the hospital as soon as the doctor checked up on him and conceived him better than before after he started eating the meals the nurses offered him three days beforehand.

It was January 3 and Soonyoung was finally free to leave the confines that the hospital had to put him through.

Soonyoung was looking better now. The dark bags hanging under his eyes were slowly fading away and his chubby cheeks were coming back that Jihoon finds himself pinching nowadays.

Soonyoung didn't mind. He loves the attention he's receiving from his shy soulmate.

When they arrived outside of the hospital, there stood a woman leaning on the red car behind her, her foot tapping impatiently on the ground. Soonyoung chuckled.

"Hey, Eomma." Mrs. Kwon snapped her head towards them and smiled warmly at them.

"Soonyoung..." she ambled towards Soonyoung and pulled him in to the tightest hug Soonyoung has ever received from her.
