"ωєℓϲοмє ϐαϲκ." Soonyoung ignored him as he walked straight ahead, an employee of his father's taking his luggage and and followed him without a word. Soonyoung climbed up the stairs to the private airplane that his father owned and held the striped blue scarf that his mother made for him when he turned sixteen.
"Take good care of it." He remembered his mother tell him once. It was Soonyoung's favorite. He remembered watching his mother knit it and teasing her how she looks like a grandma back then.
"I can't wait to make some for my grandchildren."
"Ask one to Soo-noona! I'm not getting my soulmate soon."
"I'm gonna wait for yours then."
Soonyoung held his cheek where his mother pinched him back then as he boarded the airplane, feeling the intense cold of the lonely night vanish as it was replaced by warmness that is from the inside of his father's airplane. Soonyoung sighed as he dug his hands into his pockets.
I wish I could have written a better goodbye...
Soonyoung recalled the small letter that Soonyoung tucked under his mother's nightstand, kissing his mother's forehead as he stood up and left the apartment that he will miss without a word.
"Hey," Soonyoung looked up, only to meet up with the same slant eyes as he had, his anger suddenly boiling inside as he glared at the other.
"It's nice to finally meet you," the boy in one of the seats formed a small smile as he raised a hand to wave lightly, "onni—"
"Don't fucking call me that." Soonyoung spat out, his teeth gritting in fury as he clenched his hands inside his pockets.
"Don't you ever fucking call me that." The boy stuttered as his eyes widened before he looked down in shame and turned back to look out the window.
"Don't you dare talk to my son like that," a woman in her forties with golds and diamonds glittering almost everywhere in her entire body stood up and walked over to Soonyoung with her heels clicking, her face mirroring his expression, "you son of a bitch."
Soonyoung was about to retort to the woman when a voice so low and intense emerged from behind him, stilling the two of them from speaking.
"Enough, the both of you. I will not tolerate any arguments in this family."
The woman hissed. "He's not even my son."
"Kyoko." The man said in warning, his eyes locked with Kyoko's who faltered from the profound gaze. She clicked her tongue before sending Soonyoung a final glare, baring her teeth to warn the other before walking away.
Soonyoung felt a rough hand clapping his shoulder, but he didn't even turn to look at the man. He despises him with all his life and he feels disgusted even from the man's touch itself.
"Why not sit down with your brother over there? I'm sure you'll love his company." Soonyoung glanced over his right where he saw his brother looking at him before squeaking when caught staring and turned back to looking out the window, his pale cheeks coloring.
Soonyoung would have found this cute. He would have ran over to the boy and would have introduced himself almost immediately. But, no. He couldn't.
It's his fault, after all.
All that's happening to him is all because of him. His brother.
Soonyoung scoffed. "As if." He brushed his father's hand away from him and walked away, sitting to the farthest seat away from his so-called family.
How can he even call these people his family when he knew little to none about them?
Soonyoung clenched his hands that he swore there was blood dripping down, but he paid no mind as he was longing for someone's touch.
Someone who would comfort him through this caged up life of his.
Someone he knew would understand him because he does.
He is his soulmate.
"Sayonara," Soonyoung whispered, his eyes closing as he imagined Jihoon's pretty smile. The way his fingers pressed the right keys in the piano that produced beautiful music and how his singing voice just fit perfectly like a missing puzzle piece finding the other. And he could never forget that one time he finally heard those five words rolling out of those pink lips.
Those pink, pink lips.
"I love you more, Soonyoung."
"Boku no utsukushi tsuki." Those words left a bitter taste behind with a single, lone tear rolling down his cheek, remembering the first time he and Jihoon had truly met each other.
"What's your name?"
"I'm no one."
Come to think of it. He still has that photograph of Jihoon as a child with his mother back then.
Soonyoung pulled out the folded picture out of his pocket and unfolded it, reading the same sentence that still hit his heart like lighting striking.
Happy 13th Birthday, my baby Jihoon.
Soonyoung wasn't surprised to see the colors dulling in his sight, having the vibrant beautiful colors dying before his naked eyes.
The sight of it only hurt him more.

Jιнοοи ѕατ υρ with a confused expression, blinking multiple times as he looked left and right. Mingyu perked up upon noticing his hyung's actions and tilted his head in confusion.
"You alright, hyung?"
Jihoon snapped out of his trance and looked down on his dongsaengs who were both sprawled on the floor of his room, papers of his songs in their hands while looking up at him in concern. He felt a sense of guilt as he worried his friends for nothing.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"You sure?" it was Minghao who asked as he sat up with him and placed a hand on Jihoon's knee to squeeze in a way to comfort him. Jihoon frowned at this as he combed his hair back.
"I'm fine. Really. It's just that..." Jihoon looked down on his hands as he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
"The colors aren't as bright as they were before..." this caught both the boys' attentions as they raised and sat on the bed with Jihoon, looking worried.
Minghao looked over Mingyu and the other looked back, just as confused as the other. But one thing was in both of their heads for sure.
Something's wrong.
Then, out of nowhere, Jihoon's phone buzzed and he quickly took it out of his pocket, looking down to the text message.
"It's from Soonyoung."
"What does it say?" Minghao asked, intrigued. But he only creased his brows in confusion as he was met with the message.
"I don't know..." Jihoon replied as he stared back to the fuddling words that Soonyoung had decided to send.
