"If you really repent what you did to me, then go, right now, to the Cops and confess to your crime. Bear the full punishment for what you've done to me," whispered Urvashi, hissing to suppress the rising anger.

"If this is what it takes to prove my love to you, then I'll gladly go. But when I come back, when I've paid the price for my sins, will you then accept my love for you?" asked Vicky, looking at her, with hope and longing filled eyes.

"Love? You are not qualified to speak of love. You call this love?" she said, pointing towards herself. "If this is what you call love, then God save this world from your wrath. Whether you LIVE or DIE, weather you come back or not, it has no consequences to my life. GET OUT OF MY SIGHT," she panted, breathing hard.

Tulsi came around to Vicky. "Stop... what are you trying to do.....go away.... NOW," she tried to push Vicky away.

He would just not listen. He stood put, like a rock. "Nothing will happen to her... let me finish what I came to say and I will quietly walk away," he said, his eyes, still fixed on Urvashi, his expression unreadable

"I know I have to pay the price, but I will come back to you. And you will show me the way, to win you over. MARK MY WORDS," he said, his eyes, shallow pits of sorrow. "You may think this is my lust or my arrogance. It is not. This is my determination to prove the depths of my love for you. It was love at first sight for me Urvashi and it grows inside of me with every breath I take," he said, walking out of the ward.

Urvashi lay still on the bed, almost like a body bereft of life. She shut her eyes tight as the tears flowed down the bridge of her nose. The nightmare was over. She hoped she would never see that monster again. It was a big mistake coming back to India. She should never have come. If she had not jumped to near death that night, how would she face Tim, when they would meet in their heavenly abode. How could she have another man sully her body, a body, that was loved, tender and sweet by the elixir of Tim's touch.

How could she bear to have another hand touch this body, when her heart overflowed with love for Tim? How dare he try to do this to her... how dare he try to malign her body like that? She would never forgive him, NEVER.

Khushi Nagar Police Headquarters

Vicky walked into the heavily fortified Police headquarters when a constable standing guard stopped him in his tracks. "Where do you think you are going?" he asked Vicky.

"I need to get a complaint registered," Vicky said, looking at the constable with blank eyes.

The constable studied Vicky with suspicious eyes. He bit his lips and stood contemplating something for a while. Then, he nodded to his colleague and caught him by his elbow. "Come with me," he said, exerting some force on Vicky's elbow to push him to move.

Vicky walked into the station with blank eyes and a frozen heart. The Constable took him to a table, where an inspector seemed to be going through some files. "Tiwari Sir...." The inspector looked up at his name being taken and immediately saw Vicky , standing blankly. His eyes moved to the constable and he raised a brow.

"He wants to make a complaint it seems," said the constable, taking a look at Vicky. Then he nodded his head slowly, as if to confirm, what the inspector was suspecting.

The inspector looked at Vicky, his expression that of triumph. "Umm, you can leave," he said, motioning with his palm. The constable, smiled from the corner of his lips, the unsaid message that his superior had just conveyed, making him happy. He would finally be able to buy that tablet his son had been pestering him for.

"Sit," he said, curtly, as Vicky sat down silently. His curiosity had definitely been aroused. If anything, he was mentally preparing for a grilling search and seek mission for a the next few days. He had no idea that the person he was ordered to look for, would come walking into his den and save him a lot of trouble. For that alone, he would have to take good care of this gunea pig.
