"Back so soon?" I felt the undeniable urge to kill him already.

"Andrew, how was it?" I knew he would know what I was talking about.

"Magnificent. I wasn't expecting you to do what you did, however. I'm not complaining though." He chuckled over the phone.

"We're talking like we're old friends."

"We weren't? I could've sworn we were."

"Not over your dead body, asshole."

"No need for the language."

"Fuck off."

He chuckled again. "You seem to forget your manners."

"I didn't forget. I just don't like you."

"I am offended. I absolutely love you."

"You are disgusting." I sighed, before speaking again. "Enough of this, I didn't call you to exchange pleasantries."

"Straight to business, I see. What did you call me for?"

"Lily. Why did you do it?"

"Get her pregnant or get her hooked on drugs?"

I felt my heart stop for a brief moment. "You did what?"

"Which part are you confused about?"

"I already knew about the drugs, and I still want to know about that, but what I didn't know about was her being pregnant."

"Was. Past tense, you see. She's not anymore. Two healthy children to my knowledge."

"I can get the details from her-"

"Can you?"

I continued as if he never interrupted me. "What I want to know is why?"

"I didn't force myself upon her if that's what you're wondering. I didn't peer-pressure her into taking drugs, either. She did both willingly."

"Wow. When did you suddenly start to care?"

"I fell in love."

"But you left?"

"Sometimes the right choice is the hardest one."

"What the hell does-"

"We can meet up to talk about it."

"And why would I do that?"

"You want answers, don't you?"

I gritted my teeth together. "Yes."

"I hear you opened up a bar. We can meet there."

"My boys will be with me to make sure you don't try anything."

"I wouldn't have it any other way. I'll be there at 10:00 pm."

And with that, he ended the call. I looked at the clock, seeing that it was 9:15 pm. Sighing, I stepped out of my office and went behind the bar, taking my shift back from one of Victor's trusted employees and continued to work.

I looked up as heard the door open, seeing Andrew step in.

"I need you to take over again until I return." Victor's employee nodded and took my place as I led Andrew into my office.

He sat down in the chair in front of my desk, while I merely sat on the side of the desk, angling myself towards him.

"Did you do something with your hair?"

"I slicked it back," Andrew responded, smirking as he looked at me. "What about you? It seems that your hair is longer than what it appears on the media."
