Caught You // Yandere Reactions.

How would yandere Izuku react to catching his darling trying to escape from him?

Izuku is absolutely shocked at first. Of course, in his mind everything is perfectly perfect in your relationship! You're his dear little darling (who he loves more then life itself) and he's the happiest yandere in the world! There should be no reason for you to want to leave him...right?

He doesn't see the truth. His delusions won't let him.

Izuku is blind to the darkness of the situation he has created. The tiny room he keeps you locked in ("Only for a little while, darling! We'll have a better home soon."), the chains he wraps around your ankles whenever he is away ("Just to keep you safe! I don't want you getting hurt."), the many locks on all of the windows and doors ("Gotta keep the bad guys out, don't I?")...

He just doesn't see any of it. But he does see something else when he comes home, something that shocks him completely.

The locks on heavy door are broken, already open when he came to check on you. Smashed pieces lay on the ground and cracked bits hang off of the door. The chains he had so lovingly locked around you were broken as well, the metal laying uselessly on the ground.

And you were gone.

For a moment, Izuku was silently frozen. Wheels turn and turn around in his head, the sight before him adding up in his mind. Broken lights, broken chains, empty room. Izuku realized that you...were GONE. And then he was running after you.

"Y/N!!"

Desperation filled him and all Izuku could think about was the HORRIBLE things that could happen to you.

You could get HURT! Or KIDNAPPED! Or...or even worse! With fear pumping through his veins, Izuku thought quickly, thinking over the routes your could have taken to try to escape. Of course, you probably wouldn't. The city he'd taken you to was a new one to you both, the area you lived in was particularly quiet. The streets were confusing and the people unfriendly, which is exactly why he had picked it.

"A new place to start our lives together!"

"No nosy neighbors!"

"Just you and me, honey!!"

That's the way things are SUPPOSED to be...the ways things are MEANT to be. You and Izuku safe from the world but, oh, you just didn't understand it yet! You were just confused! And you were probably lost and scared and you NEEDED IZUKU!! If there was even a moment of clarity in his mind, it's long gone now.

The idea of you being HURT and COLD and SCARED and ALL ALONE had Izuku right back into his delusions, deeply so.

And Izuku is no dummy either. He's able to find you easily. Your escape had been managed only minuets before Izuku got home and since then you had been running through the city, banging on doors and begging for help...only to be ignored.

Could anyone really be blamed?

It was a dark, cold night and some strange girl was running through the streets, screaming and begging to be let in. You could be anyone. A druggie, or a robber, or even a murderer. No one tried to help you. No one even thought that you might be a victim.

"Y/N!"

Because you weren't a victim.

No, no, no! You were his darling and he had found you. Izuku ran out from the shadows, reaching out for you as he did.

You screamed but he didn't hear you.

You ran but he managed to catch you.

And then he dragged you away, dragged you back home.

Though you kicked and fought and screamed, Izuku barely even noticed any of it. He was too busy smiling like an idiot lost in love, a wide grin gracing his face and his eyes shining happily. He nearly cried, he was so overjoyed!

"Oh, honey! I was so worried about you!"

He yanked you into his arms, slapping a hand over your lips ("We don't want the neighbors getting worried too, do we, darling?") as he rushes you back inside. In Izuku's mind, this is all just some big misunderstanding...one that he won't let happen again.

Soon enough, there will be a heavier door with extra locks.

Stronger chains to be wrapped around your lovely ankles.

Better security, better doors, better EVERYTHING.

Izuku's reaction will be one of delusion and worry. His lovesick mind will create a fantasy to distract himself from the truth. In his mind, something just upset you and caused you to run away...but that's okay! He'll do better, he promises. As he sets the new chains tightly around your ankles, Izuku is still smiling sweetly.

"Oh, honey, don't cry! Everything his perfectly all right!"

Your sobs shake your entire body, leaving you shivering with what he insists is only fear. To Izuku, it makes perfect sense. You were in the dark, dangerous world without him so of course you had been frightened!

But you don't have to worry. Not one little bit.

Izuku is going to lock you up with his love. He's going to make VERY sure that this will never, ever happen ever again.

"You're safe now, darling!"
