You were in that field you loved. Except it had changed from the last time you've seen it. The sky was hidden behind dark clouds, a rumble of thunder could be heard in the distance. Blue lights would flash in the clouds. The flowers were all wilting away, they had lost their color. The trees leaves were gone, its bark was a dark grey color. The triangle carved in the tree was glowing a dim blue. You traced your fingers against it, like always.
Blue
Your dream came to an end. You woke up from all the kids packing up their stuff to leave to next period which you quickly did so yourself. You slept through the class, something you never saw yourself doing.
You were in the middle of fifth period listening to your teacher talk, he was so monotone. You could almost fall asleep due to how boring this class was. Of course your teacher did would not allow that to happen and call you out instantly.
While listening to him and jotting down some notes your ears started to ring, loudly. You could hardly hear what your teacher was saying. Then it got high pitched so you covered your ears and bent over in your chair you squeezed your eyes shut, any higher and your ear drums could burst. You jolted your eyes open and saw a Blue triangle outline everywhere you looked, like a eye floater. Your vision got suddenly blurry on top of all of this. You stood up sending your chair falling behind. You tried to look at the teacher but he was all blurry,
"What is wrong?" You couldn't understand what he was saying it sounded all muffled and like gibberish.
You grabbed your ears again and squeezed your eyes shut again. You started to stumble all over the place. The noise in your ears only grew. The noise turned from being high pitched to what seemed to be a mixture of people screaming and whispering. The tattoo on your arm was now glowing a bright blue. You noticed your teacher was grabbing your shoulders trying to keep you still. Your breathing quickened, and you started to float a bit above the ground. Which you saw the teacher look down and notice you floating and he let go of you. You fell to the floor, you were now laying sideways on the ground, your vision was fading in and out the blue triangle still shining brightly.
The teachers silhouette went over to the phone probably to call the office. You could see silhouettes of the students talking to each other or panicking.
You soon went calm as you watched the teacher put his phone up, you heard him say a couple things to the students. You decided to sit yourself up, as being on the floor wasn't exactly comfortable for you. The screaming and whispers had died down a bit, but that triangle outline was still shining in your vision. You looked down at your tattoo and that was glowing too.
You batted your eyes a couple times the blurriness only seemed to worsen. The room then started to spin and a tingling feeling ran through your body and up your spine. The hairs on your arms jumped up. A warm sensation could be felt running through your veins. You grew tired by the second, like your energy was being poured out of you. You laid down and shut your eyes.
There you were again in that field for the second time of the day. But, it looked worse already. The flowers were wilted away. The butterflies were gone. The tree was rid of all its leaves, crows were now camping out in the tree. The grass was yellow and dead. The sky was no longer a beautiful blue, but now it was red, and the clouds covered the sky. Darkening the place. You went to the tree. The only light that could be seen was coming from the carved triangle, which was now glowing a bright blue.
"Bill?" You questioned, you looked around for him he had to be around here somewhere. He always showed up here when you were here.
"Boo." You heard the least enthusiastic scare ever. You cross your arms and turn your back to the tree. You give Bill an eye roll "Was that supposed to scare me?" Bill gives a chuckle, "It was supposed to. Did you fall asleep again?" He questions you, "This is your second time coming here today"
"Well, actually I did not. I passed out this time. My vision got blurry, there was this horrible ear piercing yelling in my ear, everywhere I looked there was a blue triangle following me everywhere, my body was tingling, my heart rate was up. So much happened I guess my body couldn't take it." You shrugged it off. You were honestly use to passing out at this point, along with all the crazy stuff happening to you.
"Wait what? This should all be happening one at a time. And you just took all of that in a couple of minutes?" Bill grabbed you by the shoulders. He seemed surprised. "Well yeah, I'm guessing it wasn't supposed to?" You look up towards him. "Not really, but you are a human. This could be good. This just means you got to get passed stage three. Which isn't to bad. You already have my magic in you, you just need to learn it."
"Simple enough" You shrug and float a bit, "I can already do this. What else is there?" Bill chuckles, "Thats cute" He flys himself into the air. "But can you do this?" He starts to fly around the place and he teleports in different locations around the field yelling "I'm over here!" or "Behind you" He does this for a bit then appears back in front of you again.
"Okay, so you can fly well and teleport around the place. How can I do what you do?" You planted your feet to the ground looking to him. "Well for flying you have to think of it like" he ponders for a moment, his finger on his chin. "Like a girly superhero." You laugh, "So are you saying you are a girly superhero?" Bill gives you a stern look, "Haha. Very funny." He states blandly. He looks down at an invisible watch on his wrist, "Uh oh. Looks like you are being awoken. We will continue our session in the next chapter" Bill says, at this you tilt your head and ask, "Next chapter?" Your laugh echoes throughout the field as you fade away, "You are so weird" You finally say as you disappear.
