You could not make out the expression on your mother's face. It seemed to battle between, anger, disappointment, and heart-break. The silence at the door was awkward. "Hi." You broke the silence. You did not know what to say or what to make of the situation. Tears were threatening to spill out of your eyes. You were holding them back as you did not want your face stained blue. "I.." You stopped yourself, "I missed you guys." You were looking at your feet, you did not want to look at your mother's eyes. It hurt you that she was hurt, because of you. You never felt such pain as this.

You heard her feet shuffle towards you. She gathers you into a hug, "Come in. You wouldn't want anyone to see you out here." You walked in and stopped yourself in the foyer. "It's been so long since I have walked in here. I almost forgot what it was like." Tears still threatening to break free from your eyes, you blinked you eyes a couple times removing the tears.

Your entire family gathered in the family room to see you, they all sat on the couch while you stood up in front of them. The room was filled with high tension, nobody spoke a word the only thing heard was the air conditioning buzzing throughout the house. The attention on you startled you a bit, you were representing Bill, you could not seem weak. You fixed your posture making it tall and strong.

You gave a awkward cough and spoke out, "I missed you all."

Looking around at their faces, it was unknown what to make of it. It scared you that you could not figure it out. "(Y/N), maybe it should just be me and your father talking to you right now."

Your mother spoke up. She was upset with you, and you could tell. The disappointment was radiating off of her. "No. I want to explain myself." You say hurriedly. You took a calming breath, "I just. I wanted a change. I wanted something exotic to happen." You explain, "Bill came around, introduced himself and then he changed my life."

You made your story short and simple, you did not know what Bill would be okay with your saying. "You know what I don't give a damn what Bill wants anymore." You said aloud to yourself. Everyone's faces were confused and a bit concerned. You looked across all of their faces. And jumped up excitedly as an idea popped into your head, "Attend the Ball tomorrow night! You guys can see what I am living with and how amazing it can be up there."Maybe they would not be so concerned for you if they seen what life was like above.

"(Y/n) I'm-" You interrupted your dad, "Of course you guys would need disguises which should not be too hard. I could even have my personal servant help me. Oh forget that I can just spawn some!" You went off on your rant and snapped your fingers and before your family was present disguises and formal attire for each to wear.

"(Y/N), I don't think we will be going." Your mother spoke up. Your heart dropped and your expression changed. Why would they not go. It could be so much fun for them, as long as the ball isn't interrupted again.

You gave a chuckle and tried to play it off, "Why not? It could be so much fun. I could even make sure you guys are treated with the best respect." Your family looked at each other with unsure looks,"We just don't think it is a good idea. We know what you and Bill have been doing. The president and even news reporters have been talking about it publicly."

You were confused and heartbroken. You snapped your fingers removing the disguises and formal attire from the room. "I just don't understand why you guys won't come. Is it because of what I caused upon you guys?" You wanted to cry, a tear even slipped from your eye, the blue stain streaked down your cheek. Your sister spoke up, "No, I mean yes, it is just that. We never expected this from you. Our friends don't not even talk to me anymore. Only because their parents think that we are a dangerous family. But really, we are in danger."
