Chapter 3. Rematch

Felix's POV
"It's been a week and the team tryouts will finally end! I can't wait to battle some teams!" I hear a ring from my phone and it was a text to Slate.

Slate
Hey! Sorry to bother you but....Pink Team wants a rematch today. So if your up to it meet us at Crusty Sean's truck!
It's so obvious that Pink Team wanted to rematch us, they want to prove how strong they are. Well I'll just grab my Heavy Splatling. I put my hat on and raced out of my door and went to the train, I sat there on my phone and saw Brandon as well on the train. I looked at him for three seconds and looked back at my phone. "Geez this is embarrassing!" I started to get a nervous look on my face, but the train stopped and I raced out first. I saw Slate and the others and came to them.
   "H-Hey guys! Sorry I'm late." I said to them with a nervous grin. I looked behind me and saw Brandon walking near Sheldon shop.
  "Well we should head to Deco Tower and see if Pink Team will show up." Slate started to chuckle and picked up his Squiffer, I picked up my Heavy Splatling and Rosalina with her N-Zap'89 then Lucas with his dualies. We sat down and saw Pink Team came, they had an octoling on their team too!
"Hey Brandon, mind telling me your names?" Slate asked politely.
"I'm Mallory!" The girl pushed through and throw her hand in front of Slate.
"Hehe, nice to meet you Mallory! I'm Slate the team leader." He said with a smile.
"I'm Zane...." the Octoling came in and sat down next to Mallory.
"I'm Keith." He told them as he brought out his Splash-o-matic.
  "You might know my teams name but here goes nothing, that's Lucas, Rosalina, and Felix." Slate finished. The map that was selected was Moray Towers, it means are Team will have an advantage because Slate is a Charger! They match started and Slate just fell down to the second floor, he can't Ink Turf so he is going straight to a battle. Me and Rosalina start inking up are side of the map then head down to the center. I see Mallory already coming down and trying to splat Lucas. Rosalina starts to use her charged special and throws a bunch in Splat bombs at her, she quickly squids form up her side base. On the Other hand I look behind me and see Brandon trying to sneak and splat Slate, I start firing and he looks straight at me. He starts to swing his roller sideways and almost splatted me, thankful I dodged.
Brandon's POV
"She's harder to splat...." I say as I try to splat her again, she has quick reaction. Then instead of swinging I threw a burst bomb at her and she was splatted, I saw her squid form float up to her respawn. That took so long now I can head to Slate so I can Splat hi-
  "GAH!!" I look and see the octoling they have on there team called Rosalina. I respawn and see Keith trying to splat Lucas, he is so quick because of those dualies. I swim to the center and see Slate aiming for me, as I run away from him I also start to charge my special. But before I can use my special I saw Slate come down but he was in a baller! His baller was filling us with Cyan ink and I quickly tried to run away but it exploded, thankful it just boosted me up a bit. I thought I was doing well when I was at Cyan Team's base but when I wasn't looking Felix came behind and splatted me.
   "You should pay attention!" She started laugh a little bit. Half of are side was covered in Cyan ink and only a little bit of Pink ink on there side.
"MALLORY! ZANE! Head up to there base me and Keith will take care of them!" I shouted so only they can hear me. I went down and splatted Rosalina and Lucas with my roller.
"T-Thanks! Now I'll just paint the rest, you head up and help Zane and Mallory." Keith said as he started to paint the ground, we started to paint the center but as I looked Mallory was splatted by Slate with his Squiffer. I start to use my special Splash-down as Rosalina and Lucas came to me. I look and see 1 more minute on the clock. "We need to paint there side in order to win!" I start to paint up to Cyan's base but see Felix.
Felix's POV
I look at Brandon with a gleam in my eye, my special started to glow on my hair and I opened my mouth.
"Special Weapon!!!! Stingray!!" I shouted as I pulled out my special weapon, I look as I was about to blow in it Brandon was staring in shock. I started to use it and splatted him, I looked to see the others in the center and managed to splat them. 3......2......1 That's game!!! Judd ended the match and was calculating the results.
   "And the winner is......Team...." he said as all the excitement ran into me.
  "Team Cyan!" He shouted. We started to jump in excitement for the match, it seemed like Pink Team would have won if I didn't use my stingray on the others, we walked out of Deco Tower with 2,400 coins! The others decided to go home as I walked around Inkopoils Square, I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around. It was Brandon!? C-Captain of the Pink Team!?
   "Hey your Felix right?" He asked me.
"Y-Yes I am!" I tried to sound calm but I was nervous for my life.
   "Nice match, I'm impressed of your battle skills." He says and walks away heading to Sheldon's shop. He complemented me!? But I'm nothing like him!?
   "T-Thank you!" I tried to make him hear me but he might have not. I should head home, today was really rough. "My first real Turf War match and I already beat a Team!"
