Chapter 6. Differences

Felix's POV
~Weeks later~
"That was a tough match!" Rosalina exclaimed as she stretched.
"Purple Team put up quite a match, but lucky we beat them!" Slate pointed out putting a thumbs up.
"We would have never won without Felix's stingray." Lucas patted my back.
"Yeah! Even I think I shouldn't be leader!" Slate felt embarrassed.
"But without a Squiffer like you we would never be able to splat are enemies!" I put my arm around Slate's shoulder and grinned. I noticed Pink Team headings towards Deco Tower.
"Hey Pink Team!" Slate grind at him with his arms crossed.
"Hey Team Cyan, We're against the Orange Team." Keith said as Brandon didn't reply.
"Team Orange is pretty strong so good luck!" Lucas said as they entered in the Deco Tower. Brandon seems a bit off today....I grab my Squidphone and plug in my headphones, I start to play Bomb Rush Blush Callie's Solo. I really wish Callie won the last Splatfest, Marie looks depressed to me. I walk to a table  and down scrolling down miiverse, I found an account with some amazing art. I liked it and followed the person as I looked through there profile, but as I was looking I see a picture that looks just like me! I look down and see a picture of an octoling...it was Zane!? He drew his whole team and mine!? He really is talented! He has 3k followers, and he also draws his follows too! He's so kind!
~3 minutes later~
I see Pink Team walk out Deco Tower with cash in them. They must of won against the Orange Team, Brandon seemed off as he walks to the train not even saying Hi or a goodbye. Zane sat on a bench as his hand goes side to side, I get up from my table and walk towards the bench he's sitting on.
  "Hey Zane!" I got his attention and he puts his phone down.
"O-Oh! Hi F-Felix!" He stutter as his cheeks turn slightly pink.
   "I saw the drawing you made of me from  Miiverse, I really liked it!" I said as I sat next to him. He started to get flustered and covered his face embarrassment.
  "T-Thank you...." as he puts his phone down on his lap. I grab his phone and see what he was drawing.
   "NO DON-" he tried to stop me but I saw the sketch of his drawing.
  "Y-Your drawing me and Brandon fighting each other!?" I said as I held his phone in excitement. He covered his face as it looked red.
    "So embarrassing......" he replied and moaned complain.
   "Don't be embarrassed! I really appreciate! Nobody has drawn me that good or nobody at all!" I hugged his side in happiness.
  "Y-Your welcome!" He said finally releasing all the embarrassment. I exchanged phone numbers with him and I headed off to the train, but as I put my ear bud in I see a line of inklings to the train. Brandon was standing there with his ear buds as well, I tapped his shoulder to get his attention and I heard a word come out of his ear bud and it was Tide goes out.
   "Are you seriously listening to Tide goes out?" I put my hands on my waist.
     "Yeah I am, and I bet your listening to Bomb Rush Blush." He said annoyed.
  "Geez, someone is in a bad mood." I said to him with a smirk.
~Brandon's POV~
"Well, at least Marie won the final Splatfest." I said to her. I didn't want to talk to anyone because I saw my Ex on Team Orange, she was disappointed because I didn't get on Orange Team last year.
"Hey sorry if I bothered you, you didn't notice me when you were entering Deco Tower." She said with apology.
"It's fine...I'm just not in the mood." I said putting one of my ear buds in my ear to listen to the calm music.
"Sorry if I'm being annoying but.....why do you like Marie?" She asked me.
"Well her music is more calming and relaxing then Callie's energetic music." I to her pointing at my phone case. It was Marie doing the "Stay Fresh" look.
"Well I like Callie's music because well it keeps me happy and enjoy being in Inkopoils!" She also pointed out showing the same kind of my phone case but with Callie on it instead of Marie, and the background was pink.
"Marie kinda looks depressed to me." she shrugged to me. The line to the train started to move up and we still were taking about are differences.
"Did you hear about last Splatfest last year?" I asked her even though it was her first year here.
"Oh the Splatfest of Pancakes V.S Waffles?" She said holding a picture on miiverse.
"I'm so glad Waffles won! Pancakes taste plain, even though Waffles are the same just add peanut butter and syrup and it will taste so fresh!" She said with excitement.
"I never thought of that!" I said as I picked Team Pancakes.
"Well why don't you try Pancakes with Blueberry jam!" I plsaid as she told me to eat Waffles with peanut butter.
"Then let's go to my apartment and try!" She challenged me.
"Fine, but this will be easy!" I said with a ambitious look.
~30 minutes later~
"I wonder what the hold up was for?" I said as we arrived at Felix's apartment. We entered in her apartment and I saw all sorts of Ink cans and weapons.
"Sorry about my mess." She said rubbing her head in embarrassment.
"You own a lot of weapons!" As I looked she had an Inkbrush, Umbrella, Splat Charger, and a Carbon roller.
"Yeah I loved a long time in Inkopoils Plaza." She said holding her Inkbrush.
"This is the weapon I used on the last Splatfest...." she said hugging it. I wonder why she loves it so much.....wait what's that sticker on it!?
"Hey Felix, what's that sticker on it?" I said pointing to it.
"Oh my best friend gave it to me, he gave it to me when I moved away." She said as I looked at it. It had Felix hugging him.
"What's his name?" I asked one more question.
"His name is Liam!"
