Chapter 4. Rival Hangout

Felix's POV
I wake up to 7 buzzes on my phone, I start to open my eyes to see the sunshine right in my eyes. I take a look at my phone and it seems that Slate has made a Team group chat.

Slate- Hey guys ready for a hangout at Inkopoils Square?

Rosalina-.....Really?

Lucas- I bet Pink Team wants another rematch.

Slate-Nah.....maybe

Rosalina- Well yesterday was really tough, but at least we won.

Lucas- Well if it wasn't for Felix we wouldn't have won.

Slate- Yeah your right!
"Ugh why can't I get any sleep around here." I said as I tried to stand up, I change to my normal cloths and head to Inkopoils Square. I hear another buzz come from my phone and look back.

Rosalina-ummm...Is Felix here?

Felix- Yes I am and I was trying to sleep 😑

Rosalina- Sorry

Lucas- My bad

Slate- Opps 😅

Felix- Well I'm on the train to Inkopoils Square, so I'll be there.

Rosalina- Ok cya!

I put down my phone and see the train stopped I looked outside but it wasn't Inkopoils Square...it was Inkopoils Plaza!? I cover my face in embarrassment and wait til we head to Inkopoils Square. I look at the inklings that came in the train, they seem to have the same hair style. They start to stare at me and my hair, I look at my side and see other inklings sparkling with amazement of my hair style.
"Where did you get that hair style? Do boys have different hair styles too?" One inkling asked me.
"W-Well yes, in Inkopoils Square we have many different hair styles!" I explained to them.
"Huh? Inkopoils Square?" One inkling boy questioned.
"Y-Yeah it's nothing like Inkopoils Plaza." I exclaimed to them all, I look out and and see Inkopoils Square. I get up and when I exit I see Rosalina near Deco Tower.
    "Hey Rose!!" I called out to her. "That's the nickname I give her..."
"Oh hey Felix!" She said hugging me.
    "Sorry about this morning..." she apologized handing me a cup of coffee. I grabbed it and took a little sip from it.
"Rose!? You didn't have to!" I exclaimed as I chugged it down.
"D-Don't chug it!" She started to laugh a bit.
"Hey Felix and Rosalina!" They turned and saw Mallory with her twin brother.
"Oh Hi you two!" I waved my hand a little bit.
"Y-You can j-just call m-me Rose.." Rosalina said shyly while twirling her tentacle.
"Ok, Rose it is!" Mallory said with a bit of laughter.
~20 minutes later~
"We've waited 20 minutes until Brandon gets here!" Mallory started to complain.
"I'm sure he'll come!" Zane tried cheer her up.
"Mallory your never pathetic." Keith palm slapped his face.
"Huh? Why do we need Brandon?" I asked them.
"Did Slate not tell you!?" Lucas was dead shocked.
"N-No." I stammered and looked at them.
"Well were just going to hangout today because of yesterday's Turf War." Slate explained.
"Oh, that makes sense." I started to chuckle. I looked around and saw someone coming out of the train for Inkopoils Square, I see Brandon walking with a more happy look on his face. He walked over to us and shakes hands with Slate the Captain of the Cyan Team.
Brandon's POV
As I shake hands I noticed that Felix was staring at me with more than her normal look. I smile back at her but then faced back to Slate who was pointing to the arcade place, we all went in and got coins to play the games. I went with Keith, Mallory and Zane, then it was Rosalina and Felix, last Slate and Lucas. I started to play a game called "Baller goal" and as I played it I won 50 tickets., I went to another game and as I played I heard complaints from Felix.
   "Your so close Rose!!" She squealed as she tried to get the Pink squid form plush. Me and Keith walk over there and look.
  "Oh Brandon! Can you help us get that pink squid form plush!" She asked me with a bright smile.
   "Sure I guess." I wasn't that confident but I put in a coin and started to look for a way to grab it. I found one way and grabbed it, Felix's mouth started to drop with excitement and I got the plush.
  "Your so good at this rip off games!?" Keith exclaimed with shock.
  "Thank you so much!" Felix said as I handed her the plush, she started to hug me for it.
   "T-Thank you so much!!" He hugged me.
  "N-No problem." I said with slight pink cheeks. She walked off with Rose and they headed to another game. "S-She hugged me!?" I was very stunned of how she hugged me just for winning her a plush.
~1 hour later~
  "Well I think that was fun!" Slate said as he grabbed his tickets out of his pocket.
"Why don't we count up all are tickets and see what We can get?" Zane pointed out.
  "That's a smart idea." I said to Zane with a thumbs up. We all pulled out are tickets and counted them.
  "Wow!? 42,750! Tickets!" Felix exclaimed.
  "Well we can each get a plush, and cotton candy." Lucas said as the plushies were for 1,000 tickets and cotton candy was for 200 tickets.
"W-Well I'm just going to keep the plush Brandon got for me at the claw-machine." She said with confidence. I started to blush a bit when she said that, everyone else started to Awe. Mallory picked a magenta Octo form plush, Zane got a Purple Squid form plush, Keith got a Pink Splattershot plush, I got a Aqua Squid form plush, then Rosalina got a mem cake plush, Lucas got a Orange Splattershot plush, the Slate got Squiffer stickers for his Charger. Before I could exit the arcade I felt a hand pull on my shirt.
  "Felix?" I said as she smiled.
  "Thank you for getting me this plush!" She thanked me again.
"It's no problem really!" I tried to sound convincing. She smiled back and ran to the train to go to her apartment, I smiled at her as she ran to the train. "You are something Felix...."
