Chapter 1. Inkopoils Square

Felix's POV
I walked out of my apartment and head to the train station to go to Inkopoils Square, as I walk down to the train station I see my old friends from my old high school. I waved to them if they remember me but they don't, as I took my seat I saw an octoling step on the train I started to look and everyone was terrified of her. There was an empty seat next to me and looked back up to her.
  "Hey Octoling! There's a seat over here!" I shouted to get her attention. She looked my way and she sat down.
"T-Thank...y-you." She said shyly towards me.
    "I'm Felix! It's nice to meet you! Why don't we be friends?" I said proudly to her. She looked with a shocked face that I was talking to her.
  "Y-You really want be f-friends with m-me?" She shyly asked me.
  "Well Of course! I have no friends right now but you can be my first one! And who cares if your an octoling! I heard that Inkopoils Square has a octoling news reporter!" I tried to sound confident. She smiled slightly and looked back at me.
  "O-Ok! I'm Rosalina!" He said with excitement as she shakes my hand rapidly. The train came to a stop and we both looked outside and saw Inkopoils Square. We both exited out and walked to the middle of Inkopoils Square.
"T-This looks so amazing of what I imagined!" Rosalina squealed as she looked at the building. There was a sound on top of the tower and started to play.
Pearl-"Hey all! It's Off the Hook, coming at you live from Inkopoils Square!!"
Marina-"We have some special news for you all!"
Pearl-"Its time for Team Tryouts!"
Everyone in Inkopoils Square started to scream with excitement and waved there arms in the air. "Team tryouts aye!" I said as I looked back up.
Pearl-"we have a stand outside of Deco Tower and we will be assigning you a team color! And then battling other teams, if you lose two people will be kicked off the time if they were the last two on the scoreboard!"
Marina-" But dont worry we will have team tryouts for a week!" Ok so this is happening in Inkopoils Plaza too but I will explain later.
Pearl and Marina- "And remember! Don't get Cooked stay off the Hook!"
They got out of the studio and went to the stand. Pearl shouted out to them that there are two lines, Rosalina and I headed to Pearl's line and were the third ones.
"Hey you two! You looking chill today, here are your tickets!" She smiled and winked at them.
"Thank you!" We thanked her. She shouted next as they walked out of the line, I turned my ticket over and found the color Cyan on it.
"What color did you get? I got Cyan!" I told Rosalina and she turned her's around.
"Wow! I got Cyan too!" She said with excitement.
"Maybe Pearl did that because were friends!" I replied to Rosalina as she smiled. As we looked for the same color line we saw a inkling boy with shades.
"You must have Cyan right?" He asked us as he showed us his ticket.
"Y-Yeah we are!" Rosalina said and we showed him are ticket.
"Sweet!" He said. They waited for there fourth player and saw an inkling boy with a mask and a black jacket. He walked towards us and looked at his ticket.
"Team Cyan I suppose, I'm Lucas." He said to them taking his dualies out of his pockets.
    "I'm Rosalina!" She said and took her N-Zap'89.
  "Alright then I'm the team leader, I'm Slate." He grabbed his New Squiffer.
"I'm Felix! Gah! I forgot my weapon at my apartment!" I panicked.
"Don't worry I got some cash on me! Let's get you a new weapon." Lucas said as he grabbed some coins out of his pocket. We both walked to the weapon shop and saw Sheldon cleaning a new Charger.
"Hey Sheldon!" Lucas waved his hand to him.
"What would you like?" Sheldon showed them the the shelf of weapons, I looked at them but kept my eye on one.
"Can I have that one?" I pointed to it.
"Oh you must mean the Heavy Splatling!" Sheldon grabbed it off the shelf and put it one the counter. I started to observe it and put a thumbs up, Lucas put the money on the counter.
"Thank you so much! Have a wonderful day!" Sheldon waved goodbye. We exited the weapon shop as I carried my heavy weapon.
"Hehe now I know why it's called the Heavy Splatling!" I started to giggle.
"Hurry up guys we have a Turf War against the Pink Team!" Slate called out to us.
"Thanks for buying this for me!" I thanked Lucas for his kindness.
"It's no problem, now let's go." He responded as he walked near Slate.
Pearl-"Alright!! We have are first battle of the day and it's Cyan Team against Pink Team!"
Marina-"I wonder who will win on Arowana Mall!"
Pearl and Marina-Ready......set.......GO!!!"
We all started to paint are bass, Slate went towards the middle because he was a charger and Lucas was already charged up with his special but saved it. I started to ink the Turf on are side, but as I looked up I saw the head Captain on the Pink Team. He had short hair and a bobble hat, he swung his roller right at me but all I got was a paint mark on my face. "Thank god I dodged that!" I looked up at the side and saw Lucas with some sort of weapon.
"Never mess with my friend! Special weapon! Tental missiles!" He shouted as they started to fire, the bobble hat boy dodged them with quick speed. As he wasn't looking I fired up my Heavy Splatling and splatted him.
"Nice shot!" Lucas said from above splatting away. I start to move to the upper area and find two inklings painting the floor, I threw a Suction bomb and one inkling was splatted. The other started to paint almost all the Cyan paint, then I just threw another one and splatted him. I started to paint the middle area and managed to get to the other teams side. As she looked up on the ride side Rosalina was stuck in pink ink with a female inkling calling her names.
    "DONT EVER MESS WITH MY FRIEND!!" I shouted at her and splatted her.
  "Are you ok?" I asked her, she was covering her face with sadness and tears.
  "Come one we have a match to finish." I picked her up and we started to stick together as we paint the enemy's base.

"Gah! I was splatted by the Pink Team's leader!"

Marina-1!
Both- TIME!!
Pearl-"Come one Judd and lil' Jud!!
Marina-"Show is the results!"
~They Show the results~
Pearl-"Cyan Team wins!!!"
Marina-looks like two people from Pink's team will be kicked out. But don't worry you have all week!"
We thanked everyone for a good match but I kept my eye on the captain of the Pink Team, he was really mysterious to me.
  "Alright let's celebrate!!" Rosalina told them.
"Yeah! That was fun!" I added and started to hug her.
    "That was some match." Lucas said.
  "Why don't we explore Inkopoils Square?" Slate suggested to us. We headed to a little map area and took a piece of paper, it showed the shopping places a weird hiring place and a gamer store.
"Well I'll see you guys later!" I waved goodbye to them as I walked onto the train. "My first time in Inkopoils Square and I'm on a team and I have friends!"

Ok as I said the team tryouts thing is happening in Inkopoils Plaza too, so I'll be making a story about that and right now Wafflez is there with her old team with Natalie, Flynn, and Marcus! So it is going to be a mystery right now. You know what just forget it because I put Agent 4 and we'll never mind.
