Connor's POV
Connor didn't panic often.
This was a bad sign.
He also doesn't almost die of happiness, shock and surprise often.
He stared at Evan, stunned. The smaller boy looked down, refusing to meet his eye.
"OhmygoshI'msosorrywhydidIsaythatwhatmademethinkthatlikeIdeservedyoubutohfernIdon'tandyouproblablyhatemerightnow!" He rushed out.
Connor reached down and wrapped Evan in a hug. The blonde boy gasped and a fear tears escaped, splashing onto Connor's hoodie.
"Please don't tell me that was joke, Ev," he whispered. Evan sniffed.
"It's true, and I'm so s-sorry," he sobbed.
Connor chuckled. "I love you Evan!"
Evan fell silent. He was as still as rock. Connor slowly let go, staring at him.
Evan looked like a fucking manikin. Connor waved his hands in front of his face. "Hello? Earth to my tree boy?"
Connor sighed, rolling his eyes. He leaned forward and pressed a gently kiss on Evan.
This caused a reaction. Evan jumped a bit but kissed back.
The brunette pulled away and smiled. "Soo...y-you love me?" Evan asked hopefully.
Connor laughed. "I just kissed you for fuck's sake, I don't love you," he watched as Evan's face fell. "Of course I love you, Evan! I love you so much!"
Evan giggled and playfully punched Connor's arm. "So, it's official? W-we're a thing now?"
Connor nodded. "It's official, my boyfriend," he bowed and Evan laughed. His boyfriend laughed.
God, it felt amazing to call Evan that.
His boyfriend.
Just then, Zoe walked slowly down the stairs, holding a plate and empty glass. She awkwardly placed them in the sink quietly.
Evan and Connor watched this the entire time. Zoe looked at Connor in eye and motioned for him to follow her.
The brunette felt scared but followed anyway. He nodded at Evan, who returned he gesture and sat on the couch.
The Murphy siblings quietly went into Zoe's room. The younger one closed the door and locked eyes with Connor.
He coughed awkwardly after a few seconds. "So uh...what's up?"
Zoe sighed. "I-I'm s-Ok this is really hard for me-I'm-you know, that word Evan repeats all the time-uh-s-so-sorry."
Connor's eyes widened. He opened his arms when he noticed Zoe's tear eyes and she collapsed into him, sobbing.
"I'm-I'm so sorry!" She choked out. "I didn't mean anything by it! I'm so horrible!"
"Sh.."Connor soothed. "You're fine. It's fine. You're okay now. Apology accepted. We're fine."
Zoe eventually calmed down. "I'm bi," she said, randomly.
"I'm gay," Connor said back. The two Murphy's glared into each other's eyes for a full on minute before both bursting into laughter.
"I have no idea what's funny but it's hilarious!" Connor shouted in between laughs.
After calming down, Zoe looked nervously at Connor. "We cool?"
"We cool. Cool beans."
"Shut the fuck up, Con."
"Start over as those normal siblings?"
"Normal siblings."
Connor engulfed Zoe in another hug. He patted her back awkwardly the same time she did, muttering, "pat pat."
"So, what interesting thing happened at the party?" She asked as the two walked downstairs to join Evan in another movie.
"'Lana and J-Jared are together now," Evan said, eating some popcorn. "during truth o-or dare."
Zoe's face fell. "Oh...well that's cool. Tell them I support!"
Connor looked worried at his sister. "Something wrong?" He asked, placing a comforting hand on Zoe's shoulder the way his boyfriend did with him.
"I had a crush on Alana," Zoe explained sadly. "Like, for a week. But I'm fine."
Connor raised an eyebrow but trusted his sister and brought Evan onto is lap, who was a blushing mess.
He casually wrapped his legs protectively around Evan and rested his chin on top of the boy's head.
Zoe watched the whole thing.
"Ohmymilk! My own older brother has his very first boyfriend! I am so telling Veronica this!" She exclaimed.
Connor laughed as Evan blushed more. Hid phone dinged with a notification.
Boss.Murphy.Dad: We're home.
