"I want you to be honest with me, Jai, what's going on with your sister?" I asked the moment she opens the door of her condo unit.

"What are you doing here?" I heard her ask, since I didn't even bother to wait for her to allow me to enter her home and its already past midnight. Pag katapos kong iwan si Kaye sa bar ay dito ako sa bahay niya dumiretso.

'I fvcking want to know what's going on.'

I stop my track and turn around to look at her "Answer my question, Jai." I said while looking at her intently "What's going on with your sister?"

"I don't know what you are talking about." Sabi nito then turn her back to close the door

"Really? I don't believe you." I said disappointedly coz I know she knew something. Hindi siya mag kakaganito kung wala siyang alam.

"Paniwalaan mo kung ano ang gusto mong paniwalaan, Pat." Sabi nito saka tumingin sa akin "I have nothing to tell you."

"Fine," I said while looking at her as if telling her I am serious right now, "I'll find it on my own terms." Dagdag ko dito still my eyes darted on her. "Just so you know, being a Luera has a good perk." Saka tumalikod dito at nag lakad palabas ng unit niya.

I'm too tired of waiting na sabihin nila sa akin ang totoo, this time, ako ang hahanap ng sagot sa mga tanong ko whether they like me to find it out or not.

"Ms. Luera." I slowly open my eyes after my conversation with Jai flashes into my mind. "Good morning, ma'am." I look at him while he is standing in front of my table.

The first thing I did this morning is to call tito Arnold and asked a favor. And he was actually surprised sa mga sinabi ko sa kanya.

Huminga ako ng malalim saka tumayo sa upuan ko and pick up the photo of Kaye on my table.

"Lady Kaye Liteda." I said sabay abot ng picture ni Kaye sa kanya, "I want to know everything, as in everything about her" I pause and took at him, now I am not wearing the Patricia Luera that my friends know, I am stand in front of him as Patricia Luera the chairman and CEO of Luera Group of Companies. "especially what happened in the past five years." I know my voice is full of authority and superiority.

I am a different person if I am doing business, and everything about Kaye and what happened to her in the past years are my business.

The door slam open but I didn't flinch, "Get out!" dumagungdong ang boses nito sa loob ng opisina ko "Whatever the fvck you are talking about, quit it!"

If only this is a normal day, I'll go furious sa ginawa niya. But I knowing that he has the right to do it right now, ay hinayaan ko na lang.

I stare at him feeling bad and guilty. I am 100% sure of my decision. I want Kaye and no one else.

So, last night I already made a plan kung paano ko sasabihin sa kanya that I wanted to call of the wedding, but for him to find out that I want to investigate what happened to Kaye in the past years is not part of it.

"What the fvck is going on, Patricia?" I heard him say, "Why are you hiring an investigator?"
