Dipper's POV

Today's their leave, and still, Cristel's still not found. Lizzie said she would stay here until she sees Cristel, but she still attends school, so she can't stay here. And our grunkles don't approve of it. I asked her, "If you still have school to attend, then why are you here?" she answered me that they have a week of vacation and that's the perfect time to go here.

After some days of Cristel's disappearance, I became suspicious. I don't know why, but something inside me tells that I should be suspicious. I'm not really a type of person who judges others by their actions, yet something tells me that Cristel is not the type that will just run away for no reason. I don't know where these thoughts came from, but I think this is a message of some kind.

"Okay guys, you ready to go?" Mabel asks the group with their things packed up who are currently outside the shack.

"Yup! We'll see each other again, right?" Star chirps, holding her scissors.

"Of course, and the next destination will be at your house," Mabel says.

"Let's go now. I'll bring you three to your home first?" Star questions.

"It's up to you," Frisk answers.

"To your home then," Star cuts the air and it lets out a violet-ish and blue-ish color portal. I still find it weird that they have to cut the air to open a portal.

"See ya again guys," Frisk waves then enters the portal, behind her is Asriel. Lizzie looks at me with almost teary eyes. She then turns away to enter the portal. But before she does, I hold her arm.

"I'll tell you if we see her,"

She gives me a small smile and holds my hand, "Thank you," she mutters. I smile back at her and remove my hand from her. She enters the portal with a small smile. I hope we'll see her soon.

I walk back to Mabel's side as the portal closes. She gives me a mischievous grin.

"So, did you finally move on?" she asks.

"What are you talking about?" I ask confusedly.

"Don't play dumb with me, bro."

I literally don't know what she's talking about. I give her a more confused look which makes her grin falter a little.

"Nevermind, let's go back to the shack." She walks inside of the shack and lifts up Waddles as she sees him. She hugs him tightly and goes towards the stairs. "I'm going to our room. Call me if need anything."

I nod. I take a glance at the vending machine, thinking if I'll go downstairs to see Grunkle Ford. I think I'll go.

Cristel's POV

"Is it really nice to just stay here? It's already our last day here, they're probably worried about me." I say to Chara, slightly worried.

"I told you, this is part of the plan." She answers.

I sigh to myself. I shouldn't have agreed to this.

"You know that I can read your thoughts, right?" she reminds.

"I know,"

"You should have told me in the first place."

"I really should have,"

"But I think you're better than any other souls."

"It's broken,"

"I know, but it can be fixed."
