Cristel's POV

I move my right hand's fingers and feel a soft sheet? Am I in a hospital? I open my eyes and try to sit up.

Ugh, my head hurts.

I look around with blurry eyes at first and realize that I'm not familiar at the place. There are other 2 men here that I don't recognize. And the room looks destroyed.

Where am I?

"Cristel's awake!" A feminine voice exclaims.

She runs next to me and assists me. Another presence follows her.

"Are you feeling fine already?" The voice asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I answer. Do I?

"Thank goodness. We were worried," the other voice says in relief.

"Where am I?" I ask.

"In our shack!" The voice chirps.

"Mabel?" I bluntly ask.

"Yeah,"

"What happened?" I ask.

"You don't remember?" Frisk, I assume, asks.

Isn't it obvious?

"Yeah, I can't recall anything except for the fight I had with Chara."

"Well, you screamed before you became unconscious." She answers.

"What did I scream?" I lightly tilt my head to the right.

"No," Mabel replies.

"What?"

"You screamed no before you passed out,"

"Oh, thanks for the info."

...

Silence fills the air. It's a comfortable one. A perfect time to break it, but I'm not in the mood to do it. It stays like that for a minute.

"so, can you tell us how you and chara fought?" A deep voice asks.

How we fought? Is it important to know?

"I think you will not like it," I hesitate.

"it's fine. we just want to know." Sans insists.

"Yeah, and if you may, can you tell us how you and Chara met?" Frisk adds.

How did we meet?

I think for a moment if I should tell them. They're my friends, so what's wrong with that? And maybe I can trust them.

"I..." I start. I'm nervous. I don't know why. It's normal for me.

"How we met... Do you remember the day I ran into you?"

They nod and hum at the same time.

"After that, I went to an alley where there's a dead end. I sat on the ground for a few seconds. Suddenly, this ghostly figure popped into my sight. She has a red outline, I know that you already figured out who I am talking about. She offered me things. She said she will help me revenge the people I hated, but I refused. She said she will make me happy, but I said there's no hope for me. Until to the point where she told me she needed a host, and I was the perfect host for her. Even though she said that my soul is broken, it can still be fixed by her help. She said she was lonely and she will not live long if she didn't find a new host. Being a gullible creature I was, I accepted her offer, also because she looked friendly at that time. As time went by, she always controlled my body. I asked her what was she up to, but she won't say anything to me. Until THAT happened. I was oblivious to what was happening at that time; I saw the chaos, but not all. When she already did what she needed, I told her to let me control back my body again, but she didn't let me. I became more hopeless and had given up."
I stop for a moment to catch some air. I didn't know telling a story is much work.
