Sans's POV

We are walking right now looking for an exit-- if there's any. My companions are talking with each other while me... well, I'm not in the mood to talk with them. I'm not really used to people that I don't even know a bit. It just makes me uncomfortable. And also, I am thinking if the kid will do another reset and do the NO MERCY run again. I know that she has stopped the run these past few resets, but I'm already sick of the world where the same events happen. I would be waking up by the shout of Papyrus. Go to my sentry post. Wander around the Snowdin forest. Tell jokes through the door with the old lady. Make the same promise. Meet with the ki--.

"Hey Sans."

I get startled at the voice. I look up to be met by a familiar face.

"wazzup?" I tell the kid.

"You know, you're not talking much since we got here. What's the problem?" asks Frisk.

The problem? The problem is when will you stop repeating time because I'm suffering through the same events over and over.  Of course I didn't tell her that 'cause I don't wanna make a scene here.

"nutella, nutella at all." I answer, smirking at the pun I just made. But she, on the other hand, is not smiling. Instead, she frowns and stares at me.

"uh, kid?" I falter, starting to get worried of the look she's giving me.

"You're lying and you know it." she says worriedly.

"I'm starting to get worried about you. You keep on hiding your true self by telling jokes. You're not even opening to your brother nor your friends. And that's worrying us." she continues.

I keep silent for a while, sinking the words she said.
She's right. I'm not opening to my friends nor paps, but I don't wanna do it. Telling them will make them confused.

"So, are you going to tell me or keep your mouth shut?"

"why do you care anyway?"

"Because you're my friend! More like a family rather."

Ugh, I can't take this anymore!

"you know what's bothering me? you! you ARE bothering me. you keep on resetting time and i'm tired of it! it's like a cycle that never ends. same things always happen. I can't handle this s*** anymore." I snap at her using my dark voice. I don't care if she's crying, she's the one who made me say it anyway.

I turn my head to look at the others whose faces are, expectedly, shocked and scared. I look back again at Frisk who is crying, her head down. I stare at her. A bright red light is glowing inside  her and that light slowly gets dimmer until it becomes grayish-red. Guess I snapped at her so bad.

"So... you told the truth." she states as another silence has passed.

"Do you know why I keep on resetting time?"

Of course not.

"It's because I need to save someone and I'm still figuring out on how to do it on. my. own." she says, giving highlights on the three last words. Saving someone? Heh, so  how's the genocide route?

"is killing a part of saving that someone?" I ask as anger slowly builds up on me.

She freezes at her stance as I finished my question. She moves her head upwards and looks at my eye sockets.
