Lizzie could not sleep.

It was bad, Josie didn't come back that night, she was mad at her. And her dad also showed disappointment as well which makes everything worse.

So naturally, she needed to sneak out of the boarding school in the middle of the night.

Great idea, right?

Yeah...

Lizzie sat in the Mystic Grill that was open late hours. Hardly anyone else was there. She was kind of ignoring everyone else but felt a weird feeling out of nowhere...

It felt like a tugging.

The siphoner looked up and looked around practically guided by the said tug. Finally, she saw a girl sitting alone as well; she had dark blonde hair in a side ponytail and wore an oversized hoodie and leggings with combat boots.

She was really pretty, or at least to her she was, she wondered what a teenager was doing in a bar and grill alone.

Wait.

That's ironic as Lizzie, a 16-year-old, is in a bar and grill by herself too, welp.

Lizzie tried to ignore her but that tug was seriously annoying.

Lizzie stood up and found herself walking over. She sat down across from the other girl. The girl blinked looking at her; she had bags under her greenish blue eyes.

"Um, can I help you?" The girl asked sounding confused

Lizzie shifted uncomfortably, "I just noticed you were by yourself. I'm by myself too..."

The girl just blinked, "you're a teen?" the siphoner nodded, "two teenagers in the grill at 1 am... How strange."

Lizzie laughed, "yes, it is strange... Why are you here?"

"Restless," the girl immediately said although Lizzie could swear it was a lie, "you?"

"Same," Lizzie lied.

Maybe one day they can be honest with eachother.

"I'm Lizzie," Lizzie put out her hand.

The girl looked at it hesitantly taking her hand, "Rae."

Lizzie smiled feeling weirdly better now for some reason...
