The drama at the school was really getting just worse and worse and the last thing that happened Lizzie wasn't sure what it even was.

She just knew something happened.

She could feel it.

Maybe she was crazy.

So Lizzie snuck out again.

She found Rae in their usual booth this time some fries already, she was slowly eating them looking sadder just like everyday.

"Good evening," Lizzie greeted as she sat across from her.

"Hey."

"How are you?"

"Eh."

"Same," Lizzie ran her hands through her hair.

"How was Europe?"

"Great, I missed my mom," Lizzie said.

Rae smiled, "she sounds nice."

"She is," Lizzie looked at her, "she would like you."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Rae tilted her head, she could tell something was wrong with Lizzie, "are you okay?"

"I don't know," Lizzie just looked away, "nothing really happened, I just feel weird, like I'm disturbed like crazy or something," Rae winced, "I know it has something to do with another student; a girl."

"Girlfriend?" Rae asked out of nowhere.

"No!" Lizzie freaked, she didn't expect anyone to assume her and Hope were anything but enemies, "we're like enemies. Her name is Hope, she hates me and I hate her."

"Why?" She asked.

"She said bad things about me when I was younger..." Lizzie explained.

"Oh."

Lizzie just rested her elbows on the table as she put her head on her palms. She felt so strange. Why? Why is this?

"What is wrong with me today?" Lizzie asked desperately.

Rae felt bad as she grabbed her hand making her look at her, "you aren't crazy."

"I hope your right."

Rae offered her fries, Lizzie smiled as she ate some, still, Rae held her other hand.

They were giggling talking, Lizzie could tell Rae was trying to distract Lizzie which was nice, they were enjoying each others companies when someone familiar walked in...

"Elizabeth!"

Lizzie immediately choked on her fries!

Rae jumped really confused as Lizzie turned to see her dad standing there looking upset!

"Dad! I'm- uh-"

"What are you thinking?!" Alaric scolded before looking at Rae who looked like a deer caught in headlights, "who's this?"

"Uh-"

"I-I am Rae Fell," Rae introduced, Alaric's eyes softened.

"Fell?" Alaric sighed, "your Meredith Fell's daughter?"

Lizzie saw the look in Rae's eyes turn when he mentioned the woman, "no, thats my aunt, my dad is Jered Fell."

"I think you should probably go home, Miss Fell," Alaric told her.

Rae looked at Lizzie sighing as she stood up, "goodbye Lizzie," she whispered before she left.

Alaric looked at Lizzie once they were alone, "dad, I-"

"You must be delusional after everything going on," he hissed, "the monsters after that Urn, you are trying to die, what if you got hurt?"

Lizzie shook her head, "I won't, I only ever come here, I'm only here for Rae."

"Wait," Alaric stopped her, "you've been coming here multiple times?"

Lizzie pursed her lips, "maybe for a month or so," she admitted quietly.

"Elizabeth Saltzman!"

"Look! I need to be here, I want to be with Rae, you don't understand!" Lizzie shouted, "it's like I have a connection, I feel like a tug, I just have to be here with her."

Alaric just squinted his eyes taking note of how she explained it, "why can't you hang out with her at day time?"

"I haven't seen her in the day time, trust me I've checked, she is only here around this time," Lizzie told him, "I guess we're just... Restless?"

"Restless," Alaric shook his head.

"Dad... She needs me, I feel like one day she might just be gone, I need to be there to make her life better, I want to make her better."

"Elizabeth," Alaric sighed, "are you sure this is healthy for you?"

"Why wouldn't it be?" Lizzie asked.

"Okay," Alaric put his hands on hers, "I understand this connection you have with her. I'll let you do this since you'll probably just do it without my permission so this is easier," Lizzie jumped in her seat excitedly, "don't make me regret this though okay?"

"Okay!" Lizzie hugged him making him smile.
