"What do we do?!"

"I don't know!"

Lizzie was freaking out, just yesterday she had her first kiss with Rae, but now today Josie refuses to speak to her. And the whole merge thing that Josie is obsessed with makes her think they will be separated somehow.

Lizzie already was breaking things, her episode was bleeding out, her powers were flaiying.

"I need- I need-" Lizzie tried to speak but as she tries a bookshelf flew across the room making Hope jump!

"What do you need? Tell me!" Hope asked.

"Rae!" Lizzie finally got out as the lights broke out, "I need Rae... She can help me..."

Hope nodded, "okay, I'll get her, I'll get her," Hope touched Lizzie trying to comfort her, "and I'll call my Aunt Freya, she'll know what the merge is."

"Okay, okay," Lizzie nodded still out of breath.

Hope left leaving her alone, Lizzie just felt tears fall as she put her head in her hands...

"Lizzie?"

Lizzie looked up in shock seeing Rae standing there and Hope behind her.

"Rae!" Lizzie ran to her and hugged her tightly.

Rae just held her, "are you okay?" She asked.

"No," Lizzie felt tears fall, "my sister hates me and she will try to leave me and I have no one!"

"No," Rae touched her face, "you don't have no one. You have me."

"I'll just leave you guys alone," Hope said as she left, closing the door behind her.

Rae glanced around Lizzie's destroyed room, "seems you made a mess," she said lightheartedly, "that's okay, it happens," she said as she touched her forehead with hers.

"I love you," Lizzie whispered as she sat down on the bed.

Rae sat next to her as Lizzie held her hand like she was her anchor.

"What do you need?" Rae asked.

"Just... Lay with me?" Lizzie asked since she usually did that with Josie and it made her feel better.

"As in snuggling?" Rae asked smiling a bit.

Lizzie nodded.

Rae agreed as they laid down on the bed. Rae had her arms around Lizzie and Lizzie had her arm around her. It seemed to be already making Lizzie feel better.

"Rae?"

"Mm?"

"You once said that you don't see a future for yourself..." Lizzie started, "but could you- would you have a future with me?"

Rae blinked staring into Lizzie's eyes, she touched her face grazing her fingers down her cheek, "ever since I met you, you have made me want a future. A future with you and only you."

Lizzie smiled as she touched her forehead to Rae's, "I love you."

"I love you too," Rae initiated a kiss then and there.

After like five minutes of laying there quietly with each other Lizzie had thoughts that she could feel were right.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Rae looked at her, "what?"

"Will you, Rae Fell, be my girlfriend?" Lizzie asked properly.

Rae stared at her thinking about it, it was like a minute before she said anything and honestly, it was the longest cruciating minute of Lizzie's life.

"Yes."

Lizzie looked at her.

"I'll be your girlfriend."

Lizzie smiled as she kissed Rae again happily.

Their relationship began as just two restless teens but became so much more.

But there were so many secrets Lizzie wasn't telling...
