"You even know where I live?" Snotlout asked in disbelief, "alright that's a little freaky, lady." Nightshade dove down to the landing platform on the ground-level, followed by Lilith. There, the two dragons landed quietly.

Viggo looked around nervously, hoping no one saw them come in. But, as always, the dragon riders were alert and ready.

Hiccup was unable to sleep with his friend currently missing. Snotlout had gone on a scouting mission the day before, but had yet to return. And to make things even worse, Hookfang had. Where ever the Jorgensen boy was, he was in trouble, enough trouble that his dragon had to leave him to find help.

It was half-way through the night when Hookfang had come back riderless. Hiccup had been on watch and comforted the flustered dragon. Now, he was in the clubhouse with Toothless trying to work out a plan to retrieve his friend as quickly as possible. Hiccup was just about to leave with Hookfang and Toothless when he spotted two dragons landing below on the landing platform.

He squinted in the dark, looking down from the clubhouse; these dragons were obviously trained. When he heard Snotlout's voice echo through the outpost, Hiccup raised an eyebrow; had Snotlout somehow managed to train two dragons and bring them back? Why? How?

Nothing made sense, but Hiccup decided there was no threat. So he hoped onto Toothless and flew down to meet his friend, along with the worried monstrous nightmare.

Upon landing, however, Hiccup was beyond shocked to find that these two dragons were two incredibly rare dragons. And not only that, but Snotlout was not alone. A man in all black was positioned stiffly on the back of a skrill, while a woman in all black stood next to Snotlout.

Sessa turned toward Hiccup upon his arrival. She watched him whip out a sword of flames. This did not impress her. She simply pushed Snotlout over to him and spoke monotonously, "your friend is safe."

Hiccup was in disbelief. As Sessa climbed up onto Nightshade, he demanded, "who are you? Where did you come from?"

Snotlout laughed a bit and elbowed Hiccup, "don't bother; they won't say anything." Just as Snotlout had said, the two remained silent.

Nightshade immediately took off toward the sky, but Lilith remained for a few moments. She walked toward Hiccup and turned her head; she recognized him from the night whem she united with Viggo.

"Lilith, we must leave," Viggo muttered lowly to the skrill. Now dangerously close to Hiccup, he tried his hardest to keep his voice from being recognized. Lilith, realizing that her rider was in a state of near-panic, squawked loudly and took off after the devilish dervish.

Hiccup watched them leave with squinted eyes. It wasn't for a few moments that he realized that that was the skrill from before. "Oh, gods.." He muttered, eyes widening in suspicion. His face became serious as he ordered Snotlout, "we've gotta go after them, come on."

Snotlout furrowed his eyebrows, "why? They obviously don't want to be followed. And it's not like they're our enemy." But Hiccup was already flying up with Toothless. So Snotlout sighed in annoyance and mounted his dragon, "come on, Hookfang."

Hookfang lifted his wings and took to the sky. It wasn't long before the two dragon riders caught up with Viggo and Sessa. Soon, there was a battle in the clouds. Nightshade shot crimson red flames at the night fury and nightmare as a warning. She hissed violently, her powerful wings mixing smoke with clouds.

Toothless reared up, roaring as he took the warning and almost causing Hiccup to fall off. "Woah, bud!" He exclaimed, grabbing onto the saddle for balance, "what are you doing?"

Seeing what was happening, it registered to Lilith that these two boys were not meant to be following them. She flipped Viggo off of her back, catching him with her front talons. Placing him gently behind Sessa on her dragon, Lilith turned toward the two other dragon riders. Viggo looked over his shoulder to find the skrill's scales alive with lightning. She flew in place, her mouth open and ready to strike.

Hiccup's eye widened in fear. But before he could even say to retreat, Toothless and Hookfang turned tail and fled. Lilith released her lightning into the above cloud with a powerful crackling noise. Viggo flinched at how close the electricity got to him. Unsurprisingly, Sessa remained still.

The skrill flew back over to Nightshade and gurgled proudly. However, her scales were still charged with energy, and Viggo would be unable to ride her back to camp. So he remained on the dervish with Sessa. The two dragons then began to fly back.

Recalling how Sessa had reacted to Snotlout touching her, Viggo tried to steady himself by holding onto the dragon's scales. However, Nightshade's neck was much more wobbily that Lilith's thick back. Viggo found himself losing balance and almost falling off numerous times. Until Sessa did the unexpected.
