To say that Denise was furious when she couldn’t find her son and that Demi girl in their assigned rooms was an understatement. After checking both of their rooms and the rest of the bedrooms in her house, she tiptoed downstairs and found them cuddled together on the couch. Suddenly, her anger seemed to fade away and a smile actually formed on her face.

Nick and Demi were cuddled on the couch. Nick’s arms were wrapped protected around Demi’s small form as they slumbered while her head rested on his chest. Both of them were fully clothed and the small blanket they had shared had fallen off during the night. Denise could feel her respect rising for both of them, even though some of her anger and disappointment that they had disobeyed her was still there. She could tell that Nick truly cared for this girl.

Before leaving them alone, even though she had half a mind to wake them up and make them go to their assigned bedrooms, she placed the blanket back over their sleeping bodies and went back up to enjoy some coffee. She may have to spike it with some vodka though.

Demi didn’t mean to wake Nick up, but she couldn’t hold her sneeze any longer. It was one of those loud, high pitched sneezes that made Nick’s eyes burst open and he jumped a mile high into the air. Once he realized what was going on, he looked at Demi and laughed. “Well good morning to you too.” Demi smiled up at him as he leaned in to kiss her, but then he backed away. “And hello morning breath!” He jokingly said.

"Oh shut up, Pubes." And Demi leaned in and kissed him.

When they pulled apart, Nick shrugged. “I can deal with that breath if it means I get to do that when I wake up.”

This caused Demi to blush.

"So, what’s on the agenda for today?" Nick asked.

"Well, I probably should head back to Rodney’s. He may think you’ve kidnapped me or something by now."

Nick gave a pout. “Well, you can’t leave without breakfast.” Nick commented.

"Are we gonna make more Jonas family breakfasts?" Demi asked, getting off the couch.

Nick smiled up at her and shook his head. “Nah, let’s go out to eat.”

The two stuffed their faces at a small family restaurant. It was one of the most delicious meals Demi had ever had, even better than the pancakes she and Nick had made the morning before.

Had it already been 24 hours since that morning? Wow, that meant that it was almost 36 hours since she and Nick had first met. It’s so strange how close she had gotten with this guy in just three days time, but it had felt like an eternity. It was as if she and Nick had known each other all their lives. Demi felt so comfortable and herself around him. She didn’t want to leave at all.

She was so lost in her thoughts that she had to asked Nick to repeat himself when she heard his voice fill her ears.

He cleared his throat as he readied himself for what he was saying again. “So, where does this leave us?” He asked.

Demi could tell that he was really bothered by this. That’s probably why he had seemed a little distance during their breakfast conversations. The truth was she was thinking about that this morning before her sneeze had awoken Nick. She almost even left his house before he woke up, but she couldn’t bare the thought of leaving his embrace.

She took a deep breath and then answered him. “Well,” She paused thinking of the right words to say. “I mean, I like you a lot Nick. It actually scares me sometimes. You’re the sweetest guy…” Demi trailed off, not knowing how to word the next part.

"But…" Nick asked eagerly awaiting her answer.

"I want to be with you. It’s just the whole hooker thing." Demi finally answered.

Nick nodded his head. “Makes sense.” He looked down at his empty plate and then back up at Demi. “You’re still gonna come to church next Sunday, right?”

Demi was almost positive she heard some hint of desperation in his voice. Oddly enough, it made her smile. That meant he wanted to see her again just as much as she wanted to see him. “Of course.”

Once Nick paid for their meal the two were off to take Demi back to Rodney’s. Their ride consisted of joking around, a few kisses at a couple stoplights, and discussing how this relationship was going to work. They even held hands the entire car ride.

They decided not to put a label on it because of the whole Demi still being a prostitute and she’d have to sleep with other guys thing, but they decided that whenever they were together they would be considered a couple. This was going to be her first relationship since…well, ever. Nick was shocked when she told him that she’d never had a serious relationship.

"It was mostly just a short fling with some loser, but nothing worth committing to." She had explained.

Demi had Nick park somewhere down the street and she told him not to walk her to the door. She didn’t want him to know where she lived and, by judging the look on Nick’s face, he thought that was sort of strange. Either way, they said their goodbyes (well more like made out in the backseat for a bit) and then Demi got out of the car after they had exchanged phone numbers.

As she walked back to Rodney’s place, she couldn’t help but smile as she thought of the past weekend she had had with Nick. She couldn’t wait for this next weekend.
