The next day when I woke up Jason was in the living room with my mom. They were talking about me, and what we planed to do today. My mom was kind of nosy like that. I stood there for a while just watching him. How comfortable he was just sitting on my couch. He looked so different from that caged bird that he was when we first met. Now he was a lion prowling the African safari. Free and majestic. I stepped out of the shadows.

"HEY!" I ran and jumped on his lap. Hummph! He let out a quick breath.

"Geez fatty what do you way a thousand pounds?" He said with a smile on the face.

"Shut up! I know all your secrets.Hmmm lets see how about something involving a baby blanket and some pee?" I smirked as his face lit up like a cherry tomato. I had won.

"Hey you promised!" He said with his voice barley above a whisper.

"Calm down I wont tell anyone I was kidding." A long silence stretched between us.

"Love you!" I whispered into his ear. He laughed just laughed and whispered back.

"Love you more chicka!" My mommade a throat clearing noise. We had totally forgotten she was there. Than she started talking.

"So I was talking to Jason about what you guys are going to do today and it sounded like you guys have a long day ahead of you."

"Not real" Just then Jason cut me off.

"Yeah actually we do. We were planning on playing a little football. Maybe some tag, you know the usual."

"Well have fun but remember.."

"Don't get hit by a car! Yeah yeah yeah we know." I stated irritated she always gave me the same speech every day.

"Alright have fun love you!"

"Love you too mom bye."

"Bye."

As soon as we walked out of the door I could tell something was wrong.
