I looked at Ace sadly. "It does? But why?" I asked and he mirrored my expression. "Because I've spent all of your life trying to show you that it's better to be loved than hurt... Trying to make you understand that when I did finally win you over, you wouldn't be hurting anymore." I got tears in my eyes. "I love you..." I said and he smiled. "I know. Go let your dogs in and we will go to bed. We got shit to get done and a flight to catch. It's a private line and you'll be able to pull your car into the plane so we will have it there, but it has to be lightweight. Or we can take the bikes and go to the shop first." I smiled. "Let's go get the challenger. We get to bring her back, right? I know a guy who will bring my bike to me so he can come visit us." Ace smiled. "My cousin wants you." I stuck my tongue out at him. "Everyone wants in on this action." I said and he made a growl sound and kissed me. His beard was starting to grow back because it scratched up my cheeks and my jaw when he kissed my neck. "It's bedtime. I'm sleepy." He said and pulled me by my arm to the back door to let the dogs back inside and Pacey used his nose to put his head under my hand so I would pet him. Bear whined at me. "Guess who won babies." Bear barked one time kinda quietly and I smiled. "Let's go to bed babies. Pacey you can come inside. Come in baby!" He did and we went to bed. Bear took his usual spot between ace and I and whiskey slept in his spot on our pillows and Pacey curled up on the other side of me. I pet him and ace kissed me goodnight. "I love you too." He said and turned off the lamp. I fell asleep and slept well through the entire night. When I woke up in the morning I went to make Ace breakfast. He came into the kitchen a few minutes after I finished. "I smell sliced pork products." I smiled. "Fresh off the stove and straight from the block." He wrapped his arms around my waist. "I knew you loved me!" I smiled and kissed his jaw. "Of course I do." "You're beautiful." I finished putting food on both of our plates.

We ate and he went to shower while I checked the oil and everything on our bikes. His had been in the bed of his truck still so I had rolled it down the ramp we had. I took mine out first and rode it around the block to put gas in it then took Ace's to fill it up. He was out of the shower and ready to go when I got back. "Hey baby. How's the ride with the jacket? And are you leaving the three of them here?" I thought for a long minute. "Rides awesome! Oh... And I think I'm gonna bring my new bike when we come back. Colby said he'd ride it back so I can bring the car back with you." "So my cousin is coming to visit?" "Yeah. Just Colby though." We packed up and loaded down the carriers and strapped our suitcases to our bikes. We left and stopped by Tommy and the groups house before we rolled out. "Hey babygirl!" I smiled. "What's up Sheriff?" He hugged me and we walked inside. "You're still taking Bear aren't you?" "No. It's only three days. He should be okay. As long as someone feeds him and he gets to play with someone." "Yeah don't let her hear him cry though." He said and I could hear a loud pitiful barking from my backyard. I frowned and looked at Ace. "No kin. He'll be just fine. He needs to learn that he can stay with the other dogs and take care of them." "But Ace listen to him. He knows I'm not gone yet too." He shook his head. "Kinley... He's going to be just fine. You'll both live. I promise." I frowned. "No we won't. I'm going to get him." He caught my arm. "Kinley. I want you this week. Alone. To myself with no distractions. Can I have that?" He sounded even more southern than normal and I got lost in his eyes for a minute. "Okay." Tommy handed me a dreamcatcher and told us we were about to miss our leave time to be at the runway on time.

We left and when we got to Tennessee I called Lily to let them know we landed safe and sound. "Okay. You guys have fun but be careful got it?" "Got it. We love y'all. See you Friday at seven. Tell Kash I'm bringing him back a surprise." "We love you guys too." I hung up and looked at Ace on his bike next to mine. "Where to?" "The shop. We're driving the challenger. Remember?" "Oh yeah! I think we're just gonna load the bikes in Kash's truck and have the guys drive it back with us. I know K was saying he missed it the other day." He nodded and we went to the shop. When we pulled in I looked at K's truck. His toolbox was open. I opened it up and looked inside. It was completely empty except for a note in the bottom that said "Kinley, all the tools and stuff are in the shop. I cleaned this out in hopes of being able to haul more stuff back with you on your second leg. Load her wisely." I smiled and went in the shop. Lily's favorite picture sat in the reception desk so I grabbed it and put it in the front seat of the truck along with Tommy's baseball bat, hat, helmet, glove and jersey from college. I didn't bother loading any tools back up because I have two sets of everything back home and Tommy was working with them anyways. Ace loaded our bikes in the bed and strapped them in then we loaded a few more things up and pulled the truck into the shop and closed the place back up. Then we got in the challenger and headed back out of town. "What are we doing today Ace?" "Going to memphis for a while then heading back to the house. That's where we're staying this week." I nodded and went toward Memphis. "Hey beautiful?" "Yeah sweetheart?" He smiled and didn't say anything. He did, however, plug his phone into the car radio and played the playlist I made him. I smiled and sang along to his favorite song and he turned the volume down so he could hear me. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Listening to you sing. You're always telling me you love my voice but yours is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful just like the rest of you. I love you more than anything in the entire world. You're absolutely perfect and I'm so happy I finally got you."
