After Ace and I got up and around I called Mike. "Hey Kiddo! What's up?" "Not much! What are you three doing next weekend? Got some seats for the Volunteers game to fill! Knoxville is the place to be on game day!" "That sounds great! Hey! While I have you here. They want to shoot your commercials when you get back in town. New balance wants you on Wednesday. Weigh in on Saturday. Subway wants Ace on Tuesday. And Everlast wants you on Thursday." I nodded along. "Okay sounds great!" I said and then we said our goodbyes. Ace walked over and snaked his arms around my waist and kissed my neck. I turned music on over the speaker system and danced on him. He continued to kiss my neck as I danced. His fingertips were in the top of my pants. Eventually I turned around and he kissed my throat while I played with his hair for a really long time. "You are going to kiss me aren't you?" He smiled and walked away without a word. "That's what I do! You don't tease me I tease you, you... Brat!" "The way you've been dancing suggests you really want me right now and I think I want you to need it and I mean need it bad." My eyes flashed. "I do need it Ace. I'm gonna die if I don't have you now." His eyes flashed darker and his voice dropped two octaves. "Not enough you don't." My eyes had to darken and I didn't bother to cover my accent when I spoke. "You're an evil little thing ain't you?" He growled and tackled me onto the bed and I giggled. He kissed me and I bit his lip. He growled again and we went forth from there.
A really long time later we were in the kitchen drinking whiskey and making breakfast. I started dinner and he smiled. "Even on our honeymoon you take better care of me than I deserve. Why are you so good to me?" "It makes you smile. Really I'm being selfish. I hate when other girls get to see you smile when I can't." His smile grew and I sighed happily and pretended to faint. He rolled his eyes and laughed at me. "You're beautiful." I smiled. "Not a beautiful as you are. I love you more than anyone has ever loved anything." He shook his head. "I love you more than that, try again." I raised an eyebrow. "That's not even possible." He smiled and sat up on the counter. I took the bottle of whiskey out of his hand. "I'm such an alcoholic. Who drinks whiskey at 7:45 in the morning?" "Pirates babe. We're pirates. You said it yourself when we were drinking shine at nine at the age of 12." I smiled. "Stop being perfect. You have to have a flaw! Let me find it you jerk!" He winked. "I'm cocky and an ass." "Nope. It's not cocky if you can back it up! And I'd know if you were an ass because I wouldn't talk to you." He frowned. "I know that's not true. Ass used to be your type babe." I didn't respond for a minute. "Ass was never my type. I was pretty much forced. You knew that." He nodded. "That's very true. So what did your type used to be?" "You. My type has always been you." He smiled and we continued to drink our whiskey and talk about whatever came to mind. I don't really remember what happened after we opened the fourth bottle.
The next day when we got up I went through my phone. "We have to go home Saturday and Ryan won't be there to yell at me for getting so drunk I don't remember anything. We all know that never usually happens." I said when he woke up and he hugged me tight. "Good thing we don't have plans for today because I feel sick as fuck." He said and I nodded. "Yeah. We don't need to get up until we absolutely have to. We can cook the meat that has been marinating in the fridge since last night and I'll bake potatoes for dinner." He smiled and nodded. We laid back down and went back to sleep after I checked the messages on my phone. One was from Chris saying he accepts the invitation and will meet me at the gym on Thursday of the week after next. I would have to ask him what I offered... Another was from Nick saying "Kinley please call me tomorrow. I need to know you're okay... And uhh... Nate is actually pretty pissed at you right now for a few things you said." The last one was from Tommy and I was slightly afraid to listen to it. I did anyways. "McKinley... I'm going to need you to call me tomorrow and tell me what the schedule for next week is. Kash needs you to go to the station before or after the game Saturday and see if Johnson has the files for the Rylie case. Lily wants to know what's wrong because you never get drunk like that and Kk would like to know if it has to do with being stressed out. Kash and me just wanna know what possessed you to call me and apologize for drinking until you couldn't remember like I was going to be upset with you." I smiled and shut my phone back down. I laid back down on Ace's chest and he rubbed my back until he fell asleep. I was out not long after and neither of us woke up until around 6 in the evening. I barely woke up and he was still asleep so I re-situated and went back to sleep. The next time I woke up he was awake too. "Ready for dinner?" I asked and he nodded. "Yeah. You still feel sick though and so do I. Maybe potatoes are too much food... How about the steaks and some of them avocados like you make?" I nodded and we got up to go to the kitchen. We went to the kitchen and I called Tommy back to tell him the schedule. I told him I'd check for Kash and that there really wasn't anything wrong with me I just drank a lot more than I thought. Ace took the meat outside so I cut up the avocados and seasoned them then put lime on them and covered them in the fridge. I walked outside and hugged him and we finished making the food then ate and went back to bed. I had text messaged Nick saying I was fine and asked what I said that pissed Nate off. He messaged me back and told me that neither of them even remembers what I said because Nick explained that I was drunk and Nate let it go. I nodded and put my phone away and we went back to sleep.
