"That ugly green truck is Jason's. He's my ex boyfriend. He was abusive. I had to put him in the hospital to get rid of him. He's afraid of me when we're alone but in public he suddenly gets all big and tough. I don't see him as a threat but he may try to start shit if he sees me with any of you guys. He thinks Ace and I sleep together all the time. He thinks I'm just a little whore and he thinks I fake my fights." Nate's face went through a range of emotions. "I'm sorry." "Don't worry about it. He's just a little punk." "Uhhh McKinley?" Ace said from outside of my door. "Yeah bro?" "He's leaving with Tara." "Eew. gross! Okay awesome. I don't have to deal with him. Let him leave and we'll go inside." Nate nodded and got out of the car and Nick said "Hey.. he really didn't mean it earlier. He was just trying to compliment you and joke around at the same time." I nodded and he got out of the car too. I shut it off and got out as Jason drove away. I shut the door and we all walked in.

"Hey girl where you been?!" Anthony asked from his post behind the bar then he saw who was with me. "No way. In my club? Really?" I smiled and took my usual seat in front of him and the guys sat beside me, Nate on one side, Nick on the other and Ace stood behind me. "They're really here. guys this is Anthony, Anthony, well you know who they are." I smiled and sideways nodded at Nate and raised an eyebrow. Anthony nodded with a huge grin on his face. "So Nate seems to think he can out drink me. We have a little bet, so I'm gonna let him pick his poison." Anthony laughed at him and looked at him for an order. "Let's go with Texas shots of Tennessee Honey." I smiled hugely. I take Texas shots of honey with every meal. "Sweet!" I said as Anthony filled them. He set them on the counter and I threw mine back eagerly. He shot his and made a face at the burn. I laughed.

He shook his head and I asked him if he had eaten today. He shook his head and I asked Anthony to get him some food. I asked for a sweet tea and some chips to go with my favorite beverage. I turned to Nate and raised an eyebrow. "How you gonna out drink a Tennessean without eating?" I asked seriously. "I don't know. I didn't think about it." I smiled and Anthony came back with everything. "Thanks dear!" He smiled and Nate looked between us. Anthony set a couple more shots on the counter. I shot mine and Nate finished his food before shooting his. Anthony refilled them and we shot them. Nate's eyes seemed to show his buzz. After about two more shots one of my favorite songs came on. "Someone dance with me!" Nate stood up and I led him by his arm to the dance floor. He put his hands on my hips and I started moving to the beat of the song. My stomach was still a little sore and I could feel a pull every time I moved, I hid it and kept dancing while I sang along with the song. "Imma dentist a menace an oral hygienist open your mouth for about four or five minutes take a little bit a this fluoride rin-inse swish but don't spit it swallow now finish! Ye-ah! There she go bumpin and grindin that pole the way she grindin that pole I think I'm losin' control."

Nate seemed to like it and I kept moving until the song stopped. "Me and Nate D-O-Double G lookin' for a couple bitches with some double D's." I said to Anthony and he laughed and refilled our glasses. This shot did him in and I raised an eyebrow. "He gone!" I said to Nick and Ace. I adjusted my Gracie headband and asked if they were just gonna sit there all night. Ace grinned and held out his hand as our two-step song came on. I smiled and let him lead me to the floor and we two stepped to If I Could Make A Livin' by Clay Walker. Once the song ended I walked back over to the bar. "I'm so bored!" Nick shook his head. "I don't dance." "Yeah, and Nate's really a vegan." Nate looked over at me. "How do you know?" "You just ate bar food with a smile. No one looks like you and eats vegan." He nodded and I asked if they were ready to leave. It was already 2 am and I was starting to get tired. "I'm ready when you guys are." I blinked slowly and they all agreed that it would be alright to leave. Anthony hugged me over the bar and we left and loaded up into the car. "Wait. You're not driving." Nick said seriously. "Why not?" "You're drunk. It's not safe." "I'm not drunk." "You had equal to 10 shots of whiskey. I'm not letting you drive." he opened the passenger door for me and guided me into the seat. I frowned. "None of you can drive a standard." "Actually, I can." "You swear? You're not gonna stall my baby out?" "I swear. I won't mess up your stingray." "Okay..." I said reluctantly and settled into my passenger seat.
