8th Period

- day of the trip -

Luna and I woke up early this morning, At about 8 due to us procrastinating and getting no packing done. The Airbnb was about an hour away, it was really big and had so much to do there. We were all very excited. Hazel was helping Luna and I pack while Dennis and Carson were outside loading up the car.

I soon packed everything I needed and also tucked away Ryan's Christmas gifts I never got to give to him. I closed my suitcase and rolled it down the hallway and brought it to car.

About two hours later everything was packed and we were on our way. Carson was driving, his window halfway down making his blonde hair blow in the wind. Luna next to him, her legs crossed dangling out of the window. Hazel, Dennis and I were crammed in the back seats of the tiny car. Hazel and Dennis started making out, it was disgusting. I got my phone out and started to text Ryan. I missed him so much.

Me - Hi
Ryan - Hey, are you guys there yet?
Me - oh no we just left a few minutes ago.
Ryan - Oh okay cool. I miss you
Me - I miss you too :)
Ryan - Can I sneak in tomorrow night?
Me - definitely

I smiled and closed my phone.

"Turn on some music!" I yelled to Luna, she turned on the radio full blast and we all started screaming the songs.

Happiness enveloped my heart. I felt so free. My friends and I having a fun time enjoying each other, all that was missing was Ryan.

When we got to the house we explored, the house had two floors. The bottom floor had pool tables, a hot tub, pin ball machines, and a bar. Upstairs was the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and our bedrooms. There was a porch all around the house and a balcony around the house as well. After looking through the house we picked our bedrooms and unpacked. My room was a minimalistic style, it was very pretty. The bathroom had a big tub and a beautifully tiled shower. The bed was king sized, it was so soft. The silk sheets felt wonderful against my smooth legs.

After I was unpacked I pulled out a book and began to read it. After a few moments Hazel peeked her head in the door.

"Lonely?" She asked.
"Never." I said with a smirk.
"You should have invited Ethan." She said walking in the room and sitting down.
"I don't like him like that."
"You could have invited him as a friend, he's chill."
"Yeah, It's okay though. I mean alone in this bed it's like heaven." I said flopping down giggling.
"Yeah yeah lucky you. But anyways I came in here to tell you we are going out to eat and to the party straight after so make sure you wear something appropriate over your party clothes."
"What time are we leaving?"
"Mm 7 probably." She said getting off the bed and walking to the doorway.
"Okay." I said with a gentle smile. She closed the door after walking out and I laid on the bed.

I really missed Ryan. I haven't seen him since the last day of school before the break. I mean we've FaceTimed a few times but can't talk long because my room walls are thin. I really hope he could come tomorrow night, celebrating the new year with him would be amazing.

I started getting ready at about 5. I straightened my hair and did my makeup. I put on a tight black skirt and a strapless blue tube top, drawing attention to my belly button piercing. I slipped on a black dress over top. I put in large gold hooped earrings and forced my feet into black heels. I took a few pictures of both outfits in the large bathroom mirror and sent them to Ryan. He replied saying I was beautiful and he never knew I had a belly button ring but he couldn't wait to get a closer look at it. I laughed at that message.

I finished getting ready and went down the hall and to the living room where Carson and Dennis were sitting.

"Damn girl looking good." Dennis said.
"Is that what you're wearing to the party?" Carson asked.
"Oh no I have something under this." I replied sitting down on the large couch.

Soon Hazel came out wearing a tight red dress with a white sun dress over it, she also had silver heels on. Luna followed her out wearing white high waisted shorts and a purple bralette covered with a purple hoodie. She had on white converse as well.

After everyone got everything together we all piled into the car and went to Outback Steakhouse to eat then we went to the party.
