Draco was standing in the middle of a room full of people drinking and dancing to the loud music, while the dark was interrupted by the crazy coloured lights.
He was staring at the door with despair until he saw what he was waiting for. Hermione. Safe and sound, escorted by Ron, entering the party in her green emerald dress.
Draco then grabbed a shot of firewhiskey, said hi to some people and slowly made his way to the balcomy of Blaise's house.
He stood there looking good in his signature all black suit and his hair, platinum blonde were chaemingly lit by the full moon. On the contrary, his eyes were more cloudy than ever ready for a storm. He was ready to cry, mourn for his lost live and his inability to keep her amd their relarionship alive at the same time.
It was apinful to see her and Weasley together. He drowned his despair, pain and tears as he swallowed the shot of firewhiskey feeling it burning his throat like hell in a glass.
He put down the shot glass and looked at the night sky full of stars, only to see Polaris. He looked at it and thought about the look of her laying on the grass at night talking about her favourite star.
They say tha Polaris is the compass of the lost sailors. For Draco it would be just a permanent reminder that not everyone in this unfair world of heroes and villains, deserves a happy ending.
THE END
