Mid-Chunin Exam Chapter

Minato felt awkwardly out of place.

"U-um...sorry lord fifth." I apologized.

He smiled and shook his head, "It's nothing Sasu...erm Izuna."

He knew Mikoto when she was pregnant with me. It was a bit of a shock to him when he discovered that I was the reincarnation of Izuna Uchiha the Black Death.

"You're job is to disguise yourselves as anbu and protect Saru." I told them.

They nodded.

"I'll handle the Gaara." I said, "I'll put Hirashin seals on all of you so I can easily move to and from you. I already have seals around Konoha."

They nodded once again as I put the seals on them.

"Minato...are you sure you don't want to see Naruto?" I asked.

"I will...but not as his father... Could I pose as someone?" He asked.

Hmm... Ah!

"Jiraiya?" I suggested, "Or maybe a Uzumaki clan survivor?"

He nodded, "I can pose as Kushina's distant cousin..."

Though...I kind of wanted him to pose as Jiraiya to teach him the rasengan...

"Also... I invented somethings I call the Inverted Hirashin." I said happily, "It works kind of like a summon but with Hirashin seals! I can summon any one of you to and from places!"

Madara smirked, "That's my clever sister."

"Yes! That's my sister-in-law!" Hashirama said oblivious to the fact we never...

"Actually..." I said sadly.

"We never got to get married..." Tobirama finished with a sad sigh.

"Eh? But...why?" Hashirama asked confused.

Mito looked at me worriedly, "Izuna..." She knew what happened.

"We...died." I said sadly, "We never got to get married because we died."

Tobirama took my hand and squeezed it.

Madara said nothing, instead he punched Tobirama in the face.

"You-! You promised!" He growled, "You promised to protect my sister!"

Tobirama did nothing and let Madara hit him.

"Madara stop-!" Begged Hashirama.

Mito cried. She felt it was partially her fault too.

Minato helped hold Madara back.

"Lord Third! Please!" Minato tried.

"Stop!" I yelled, "That's enough! What's done is done! We must focus on the present!"

Hiruzen nodded, "Izuna-hime is right."

Then Saru surprised us all.

"I...kept it." Saru said as he pulled out a small box, "Your engagement ring I mean..."

He handed the box to Tobirama who handed it to me.

"Saru....thank you." I whispered as I opened the box.

There it was, the silver ring Tobirama made. The one with the Hirashin seal engraved in it with the sole purpose of him protecting me.

Tobirama couldn't wait any longer.

He took the ring out of the box and knelt.

Taking a breath he spoke.

"I wasn't able to before...but

I have no poem...

I have no flowers...

I have no stars...

But I have you and my love...

We have all the ones we love here and now...

So..the time is now...

For me to ask...Will you marry me?"

Tears streamed down my face...

"Finally you baka...but..we never called off the engagement!" I laughed through sobs, "Yes! Finally! Yes..."

Special Extra:

A red haired man walked up to a lone boy by a ramen booth.

"Mind if I sit here?" The red head asked the blond.

"Eh? Sure!" Naruto answered with a grin, "I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I'm going to be Hokage someday! Believe it!"

Minato almost cried right then and there. Instead he ordered a ramen.

"Really? I'm Oto, Oto Uzumaki!" He said grinning sadly.

Oto....like Otou-san, father...

"Uzumaki?" Gasped Naruto, "Could you be-? Related to me?"

Minato nodded, "I....knew your mother...."

"Mother? Who-?! Who was she!? What's her name?" Frantically asked Naruto.

"Her name...was Kushina Uzumaki...she was the most beautiful lady ever..."

Naruto could only listen desperately to the only thing he had ever heard of one of his parents.

He soaked it all up. Desperate for more.

"A-and my father?" He asked shakily.

"He...loved you so much!" Minato said trembling, "So...so much..."

Minato couldn't take it anymore. He sobbed.

"I'm so sorry Naruto...I'm so..so sorry!" Minato sobbed.

Naruto was crying now too.

"W-why are you crying mister? We're family!" Naruto cried with a smile, "You're the last one I have left...you were late...but you're here now! Believe it!"

"You're right..." Minato said smiling through tears, "I won't leave you..."
