Sasuke Retrieval: Itachi

"Tch. Dobe." I scowled.

"Sasuke....come back!" Urged Naruto, "Please..."

"No." I said coldly, "Not until I've completed my task."

Naruto looked at me defeatedly, "Why....? Is your revenge so important that you'll throw everything away?"

No. But saving Itachi was important.

I was alerted of Itachi being close by the cawing of a crow,

"Hebi!" I yelled as I jumped back, "Let's go!"

Suigetsu, Jugo and Karin all nodded and jumped back.

Karin smiled to her best friend Sakura, "See you later!"

Sakura scowled, "Karin Uzumaki. Come here this instant!"

But we were already gone.

"Ready?" Asked Tobirama, "This is it."

I nodded, "yeah."

I had told team Hebi to insure no interference while I was confronted by Itachi.

And so...I ran to the old Uchiha Hideout.

Kisame was waiting just outside.

"He's waiting inside for you brat." He smirked.

I nodded to him.

I was about to walk in but was grabbed.

Tobirama tensed slightly.

"Before you go...tell me," said Kisame, "how'd you do it? Disband the Akatsuki? Have its leader join you?"

I cracked a smile, "It a secret."

"Heh..I like you kid." Kisame said finally, "shame you'll die today."

I don't plan on dying.

I continued my way inside and glared at Itachi who was sitting in the 'bish I'm awesome' seat.

Tobirama smiled, "your facade will be dropped soon..."

I nodded slightly.

"So you've come...." Itachi droned, "Have you come to kill me?"

"You don't have the eyes...." He mused (incorrectly), "Tell me, what do you see?"

I took a shaky breath.

"Bish lasagna."

Tobirama face palmed.

I smiled at Itachi. He was startled but had an impassive face.

"I see myself thanking you." I told him.

Itachi was confused.

Itachi used taunt.... But it failed!

He was speechless.

"Thank you for saving Konoha," I continued with a smile, "Thank you for sparing me, thank you for suffering all these years..."

Itachi's eyes widened.

"You-!"

"I know everything." I interrupted, "Arigato Nii-san."
