"C'mon honey you can do this. You'll be alright." I said to my wife. She was 2 months early in labor. She's been sick for a few weeks and when I took her into the hospital, she was forced to give birth.

She screamed and cried at the pain. This is to soon, just to soon. My wife let out one more cry and our new child was born. We wanted the gender to be a surprise, but we couldn't see our new angel.

Our child was rushed to an incubator, it's lungs were fully grown so it was hard for it to breathe.

"Lauren." My wife said. "Lauren will be the name if it's a girl. Braden if it's a boy. I love you Andrew, take care of our child." My wife's eye lids closed and she was gone.

"NO!" I pleaded. Medical help rushed into the room trying to revive her, but I knew it was to late. A nurse took me out of the room and pointed me in the direction to where the babys were at.

Another nurse was waiting for me at a door, we walked through a room filled with new borns, but we got to the back of the room where the babys who were born early were held.

"Here." The nurse stopped and pointed to an incubator.

My eyes filled with tears of joy when I saw that my child was a girl. "She's beautiful." I said.

"Yes, she looks alot like you. Would you like to hold her?" She asked.

I beamed and said, "May I?" The nurse took her out of the incubator, carefully unwinding the tubes and handed her to me.

"Lauren, that's her name." I said.

"It's lovely."

"Welcome to the world Lauren." I smiled and she rapped her tiny hands around my index finger.
