After Secondhand serenade started playing, everything was blur. Luke went all out with getting the band and everyone from school.

The music was loud with fireworks booming overhead. Kayla stayed buy my side laughing and singing along. We all looked like idiots but we looked like good idiots.

Once they played their final song we headed out to his car. Luke's eyes were lost in another place and time. He had one last surprise and I was nervous to see what it was.

"Where are we going now?" I asked several times. All he did was smile.

"You'll see." He always said.

Finally he stopped in front of the lake. I got out and walked over to the shallow end. Luke followed holding my hand and sitting down.

"Okay, what's wrong? You've been quiet ever since we left." I asked.

He looked at me, his eyes red. "I'm moving back to Australia." He mumbled. My eyes widened.

"What?"

"We're all leaving. In a week." Tears welded up in my eyes. His grasp on my hand tightened. "I'm so sorry, Lauren. I don't have a choice."

"I-i know, I just thought that you were the one. Is there any way that you can stay here till the end of the year?" He shook his head.

"Hey, its okay. I know that once I leave we'll be brought back together in some way."

He cupped my face with his hand and dragged his thumb over my bottom lip. "I love you Lauren. Don't ever forget it." He pressed our lips together.

"I love you too.'' I mumbled against his lips. He parted our lips wrapping ng his arms around my waist and NY hands clasped around his neck. I bit his bottom lip ad he bit mine.

He let go and ran hiss fingers through my hair. "I'll come back for you, I promise." I laid my head in his shoulder and wished for the night to never end.
