♪Chapter 28 ♪

8 years later. Lauren age:25

It's been four years since Luke left and he hasn't come back. I gave up after I finished highschool. Maybe he forgot about me, maybe he found someone else.

Jaden asked me to marry him two years ago, and now we have a little boy and girl. Both are twins.

"Mommy, can you tell us about the story with Luke?" My daughter Jessica asked. I sat at her bed side stroking her head.

"Once upon a time I moved to a little place called Florida. I met a senior there on my first day of school, and his name was Luke Hemmings. He was part of a band.

We were together for half a year, and then on the night of my birthday he told me he was leaving. I was devistated but knew he would come back for me.

That's when I met your daddy, we went to the movies and finished the next to years together.  He asked me to marry him and then you and your brother came around." She was smiling ear to ear.

"Did Luke ever come back?" Jessica asked. I shook my head.

"No, I haven't seen him for eight years. But I do hope that if he has kids that they come back for you two. Or at least one of you. Now, get some sleep." She nodded and fell asleep. Her little four year old body still can't stand being up late.

I walked over to my son's Max's room, he was already asleep with his teddy bear. Finally I entered my room where Jadrn was reading a book.

"Hey, they asleep?" He asked setting his book down.

"Yeah, I told Jessie the Luke story." He wrapped an arm around me pulling me closer.

"Let's just hope she doesn't go searching for him. That would be bad." He laughed. I giggled and my eyelids started to droop. "Lauren?" He asks.

"Mhm?" I mumbe. I look up at him.

"I love you so much, don't forget it." He pressed his lips to mine, giving a good night kiss.
