I put dark eyeliner and mascara on along with a smoky eye. I curled my hair and painted my nails a grey color. I looked in my mirror and smiled.

I slid my knee-high converse on and climbed down my tree walking over to the Lake. There Luke would pick me up and drive us over to the party.

The walk down to the lake was cold but made me walk fatster. When I arrived Luke was at the hood of his car waiting for me. He whistled and said, "Wow you look hot." I laughed and playfully punched him.

"C'mon  I said." I jumped into the passenger seat and Luke crawled I to the drivers. He started the car and we drove down to the party.

Red solo cups littered the ground and bursting music came from inside. Teenagers danced and laughed all around. I looked at Luke and smiled.

He got out first and opened the door for me. I stepped out intertwining out hands together and walked inside. Micheal was waiting for us and beemed with delight when he saw us.

"Luke! Lauren! You made it." He pulled me in for a hug and then Luke. I laughed and pushed my way through the crowd. People ran up the steps, slid down the railing and jumped off furniture.

"Well, I'll get the others." Michael said. "Okay." I said. Luke and I sat down on a couch watching the others. I laided my head in his shoulder and he laid his head on mine.

"I love you." He mumbled kissing my head.  My heart thumped. I love you. Kept ringing in my ears. "I love you too." I said.

Micheal, Ashton, and Calum walked down the steps laughing. Ashton whispered something to Calum and he walked off. "Lauren come here, we have to ask you something!" Michael called out.

I got up hastily and stalked over to Micheal. "What do you want?" I demanded.

"Wow. Harsh much? No I just want you to see something." He grabbed my wrist and I turned my head to see Luke smiling.

Micheal stopped and my gaze landing on an old cello. "Why did you bring me over here, Michael?" I heard band instruments clqng against walls and drums bouncing off the floor.

"Because." Luke walked up behind me. "We want you to play a song with us." I stared at him speechless.

"No, I can't. Sorry I can't." I said.

"Please! Lauren, come on it's only one song." Calum and Ashton came around the corner.

I stared at their pleading faces and finally breathed out, "Fine." A chair was set up behind the cello and the other instruments crowded around me.

Ashton sat at the drums, Luke with the electric guitar, Michael with another guitar, and Calum with the bass. I took a shaky breath as Luke started.

"You walked in everyone was asking for your name. You just smiled and told them 'trouble'." Luke and Ashton started off first.

"My head spins. I'm pressed against the wall. Just watching your every move." Luke sang. He looked back at me and winked.

"Now." Luke started off, " Let's here Lauren in this song." I gulped down and imagined myself alone. My hands quickly played the song and my eyelids flew open.

Crowds of people came around us watching. "You're way too cool and you're comin this way."

"How did we end up talkin." Michael and Ashton sang together. Luke cane over to me with the microphone.

"In the first place. You said you liked my Cobain shirt. Now we're walking, back to your place." I sang, people cheered and threw their fists in the air. I got up and took the miche.

"You're tellin' me how you thought that song about living like a prayer. I'm pretty sure that we're half way there." I ran through the open sliding glass doors and everyone followed.

Teens threw glow sticks in the pool, elumimating the night. Luke, Ashton, Micheal, and Calum ran out and looked at me. I handed the niche to a random teen and jumped into the pool.

After that everyone followed. Luke clapped his hands in approval and jumped in after me, so did his lads.

"Lauren that was....wow." He pulled me to him from my lower back. His hands trailed up my spine  and pushed my wet hairy that stuck to my skin. He pressed our lips together, making me smile.

I parted my lips instanly deepening the kiss. His arms wrapped around my back and my hands tangled in his hair. I smiled against his lips and pushed him under water continuing the kiss.

We got out of the water gasping from breath. He exited the pool and from the corner of my eyes I saw a familiar face. Kayla. I hurried out of the pool and ran to the front yard. She was half way down the street running, I called her name to get her attention. Thank fully it worked.

"What, Lauren? You going to snap at me again?" She said painfully.

"No." I yelled out. "Please don't tell my dad about this. Please." I begged. She shook her head and laughed.

"Sorry Lauren. I have to." She tan the rest of the way and I turned back to the house. Luke saw me and went walking towards me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked.

"Kayla saw us. Now she's going to tell my dad I'm out of the house." I walked up the stairs and into the bathroom.

A razor. I need a razor. I said to myself. I looked through cupboards and drawers to finally find a razor. It was a shaving razor but if you take it apart it's a normal razor.

I ran my finger across the edge and brought down to my already scared skin.  Blood dripped into the sink and tears fell on my shirt. No, stop it! Just stop! My brain was yelling. I pushed it away and kept cutting.

I put the razor down and looked at my skin. Blood smeared, and tears stung. I opened the door and tried seeking out the front door but the guys caught me. Luke grabbed my bloody arm not even noticing.

He lifted his hand and saw the blood on his hand. The guys looked at me and then at him, then my arm.

"Lauren, you did not do this. Please tell me you didn't do this." Luke pleaded.

"Did what? What did she do?" Calum asked.

I slid my hand on the door nob and opened it bursting through the house.

"She selfed-harm." Luke grumbled.
