Merlin
"Well I'm never gonna listen to you again, Gaius", I groaned as I tried to find my way through a wheat field. Why did I even listen to him? It was hot, there was mud everywhere and not a single person in sight.
Nothing.
I didn't even want to be here. But dear old Gaius was persuaded by the idea that spending a month on a farm would help get my mind of all my mental problems. What a fool. The only thing that was going to happen was me being annoyed, irritated and bored for four weeks straight.
I didn't even know the people I was going to live with, couldn't even remember the stupid name. Paledragon, somthing like that. Anyone called like that must be a complete idiot.
I lifted my scarf to dry the drops of sweat that had formed on my forhead, gathered all my strength and kicked a stone that was laying in front of me. I immediately regretted the decision, as I felt a sting of pain in my foot, running straight up my leg. Pressing my teeth together to avoid screaming, I jumped around on one leg, probably looking like some kind of skinny kangaroo.
Looking over at the stupid stone, it hadn't even moved. Not one centimeter. I picked it up with both my hands, and threw it as far away as I could. It landed straight before my feet.
I gave up, sighed and continued my journey through the fields, now with a hurting foot that caused me to limp lightly. After a few more minutes of walking, I could finally make out the silhouette of what seemed to be a red farmhouse in the distance.
I had reached my destination.
