MerlinWith a loud sigh, I let myself fall on the tiny bed. Gwen, the maid had showed me around the farm earlier and even though she was very kind, I was relieved to be alone after such a long day.
A million thoughts crossed my mind all at once.
Most of them revolving around Arthur Pendragon.
I chuckled. Pendragon, t'was even worse than Paledragon.
Arthur confused me. I really had no clue what to think about him. Part of him seemed like a total arrogant asshead. Only thinking about it made me instantly mad, he really thought highly of himself.
But at the same time, I was full on gay for him to be concrete. I'm not even gonna start with his appearance. He had the face of an angel.
Or his body. He could not simply introduce himself to me shirtless. I had nearly choked when I saw him. Somehow I managed to concentrate as little as possible on his toned abs and broad shoulders, even if I couldn't stop myself from taking a short look. And damn I didn't regret it.
But leaving all that aside, I was kind of intrigued by his personality. Even tho I was sure he was a complete prick sometimes, there was something about him. He had a good sense of humour and I sort of knew that deep inside of him he had a good heart and wasn't a prick at all. Wasn't it weird how I got all of that just by meeting him once.
I caught myself smiling while I thought of him. Even tho it sounds cheesy, I had really felt some kind of connection between us, like as if it clicked instantly.
I had just met the guy and he was already confusing me, what was my life?!
I put out the lights yawning. I needed to try and find some sleep, Arthur wouldn't be happy if I were tired tomorrow.
I fell asleep with the image of his face portrayed in my mind, as I tried to remember every detail of him.
—— Next Morning ——
As I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, I walked out of the farmhouse thinking about how to find Arthur. I was already a little late and I surely didn't want to face the moody version of Arthur Pendragon. Because that version was sure as hell a grumpy, arrogant, bossy clotpole.
I walked straight through the courtyard, my eyes wandering around looking for a certain blonde.
I had to admit I was a little frightened. After the effect he had on me yesterday, I didn't quite know how to act around him. And deep inside of me, I really hoped that he wouldn't destroy my vision and be a full on idiot the whole time.
My eyes finally found it's target. He was standing there, leaning against a tractor. He was wearing a white v-neck shirt, that was cut out really deep, so you could see part of his chest.
I swallowed. Damn he was really something else.
Trying to act cool, i waved and strolled towards where he was standing.
But of course, I tripped. And my face landed straight before his boots. The day was off to a good start.
I didn't even see him, but I just knew he was laughing at me. My face turned the colour of a newly harvested tomato.
I lifted my face, which was covered in mud, to look at him. His lips wore that derisive smile of his and he furrowed his eyebrows. So I probably went braindead for a second and greeted him with a straight "Howdy".
That's when he bursted out laughing.
