Chapter 54

I wanted to ignore LaMelo so bad, but I don't even know if he texted Desire back and don't want to be that typical childish girlfriend I'm better than that if I may say so myself. When we got home yesterday I didn't say shit about the whole situation, I was tired so I just went to bed early.

"Melo, have you been talking to Desiré?" I ask out of the blue as we're sitting in the van on our way to Hooters

I hear Isabella's breath hitch causing me to look up, she shares a look with LiAngelo making me frown.

"What- No, why you asking?" LaMelo says starting to look nerves.

"Don't play dumb with me Melo, I already know everything" I lie.

I don't know shit except for the fact that Desiré texted him, but if he texted her back I'll now within a second.

LaMelo looks at me with a shocked expression, a little too shocked if you ask me. Isabella and LiAngelo are looking everywhere but my way, somethings up and my feeling says they know all about it.

"She- I- It happened only once, and I didn't do it on purpose it just.. I wasn't thinking I was very bored we was fighting and she just offered it, it's not like I asked her to come" LaMelo confesses making me furrow my eyebrows.

"What the fuck is you talkin bout?" I ask him.

"What is you talkin bout?"

"Ashley told me Desiré texted you, that's what I'm talkin now what is YOU talkin bout?!" I raise my voice starting to get impatient.

"I uhh... The same thing" LaMelo says scratching his neck.

Fucking liar

"Melo just tell her already she caught yo ass" LiAngelo suddenly speaks up.

Okay I don't like this AT ALL.

"LaMelo tell me right now"

He looks everywhere but me making me even more angry, I know he does a lot of stupid things but what could he possibly have done that is so dumb that he can't even look at me?

"Melo!"

"Okay, okay!! Some weeks ago when we was having that fight about that Demarcus dude Desiré texted me, she didn't overstap no boundaries so I was cool with it. She was actually being a friend and I liked the attention cuz you wasn't giving me nun, so at one point she suggested to come to Lithuania since all the juniors in Chino Hills was going on a schooltrip to Miami for a week but she couldn't go or sumn like that. So at first I was like no Ion think that's a good idea ya know, but then you started making me mad again over the phone so I was like fuck that shit. And I told her to come cuz I was in need of company that didn't include Gelo, so she flew over two days later and stayed in this hotel.." LaMelo finally confesses.

I really don't know what to say without going off on him, so I just stare at him with a stale face.

"Did sumn happen between you two" I ask not looking away from him.

I know he is getting uncomfortable, he doesn't know what to do or where to look when I look at him like this.

"She- She kissed me once, but I pushed her away and told her Ion like her like that!" LaMelo says with a guilty look on his face.

"What was you thinking? I was mad at you cuz YOU started going off about how you don't want me near Demarcus, and then as 'revenge' you link up with Desiré?! That's literally the same situation as Demarcus, only difference is that I never kissed him!" I am beyond angry right now.

"I didn't kiss her she kissed me! And in case yo ass forgot I tried to apologize but you was all mad and didn't wanna hear shit!" LaMelo exclaims making me even more mad.

"YOU LET THE ONE GIRL I HATE THE MOST FLY ALL THE WAY OVER HERE KNOWING DAMN WELL SHE AIN'T COMING TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK" I yell while throwing my water bottle at him.

He gasps and dodges the water bottle while Isabella looks at me with compassion, LiAngelo already knows I will fuck the entire van up if LaMelo keeps on saying stupid stuff.

"She was being friendly!! I didn't know she was just faking that shit the whole time, and when I said I didn't want you near Demarcus you didn't listen either" LaMelo tries to defend himself.

"LaMelo I've had it up to here with yo bullshit man, say sumn stupid again I dare you! This is the second time you interact with her just cuz I ain't giving you attention, and the whole joke is that we ain't even official yet. If you think I will keep on forgiving yo lanky ass you wrong, Ion trust you no more" I say while crossing my arms and leaning back in my seat.

LaMelo's face falls, he probably actually thought I would forgive him for this.

"We've arrived" Martinez says.

Isabella and LiAngelo get up to get out of the car, I want to follow them but LaMelo pulls me back.

"Wait!"

I turn around, look up at him and raise my eyebrow.

"Can't we just stay here and talk about this, Ion wanna fight with you" LaMelo mumbles.

"I can't stand seeing your face right now, I believe you when you said you didn't kiss her back just cuz you a bad liar but I'm hurt that you talked to her just cuz I wasn't giving you any attention. You make me look so dumb, how do you think I feel? What if Ion wanna have sex, you going to Desiré cuz she DOES want to spread her legs?" I tell him.

"Chay I'm sorry, I really am I shouldn't have replied to her texts. But I don't want nobody else but you, please forgive me" LaMelo pleads.

I shake my head. "Just leave me alone for some time"

With that being said I walk out of the van, courtney tells me where to go and follows behind me and LaMelo with the camera crew. They probably caught a glimps of our fight, and honestly I don't care. We're not perfect and the world is allowed to see that.

After walking for about 3 minutes I see a sign with Hooters, as we arrive LaMelo opens the door for me.

"Thanks Melo" I hear him mumble after I just walked inside without saying anything.

I see LiAngelo and Isabella in the back and walk up to them, I take off my jacket and sit down at a table next to theirs.

"You okay?" LiAngelo asks me.

I nod my head.

"You knew all this time?" I ask him.

He sighs while looking down at his hands. "Yeah..."

"It's okay, I get it. It's not even yo problem" I give him a small smile.

"Let's just make the best of this trip, we're going to this indoor water park in two days. So that should be fun" Isabella smiles trying to brighten me up.

"Yeah Big Baller in a water park is always fun, remember when we was little and he got stuck in one of the water slides?" LiAngelo says making me chuckle.

"Yeah I'll never forget that moment" I smile.

[Lonzo&Denise]

"You guys heard about what LaMelo did right?" Steve asks earning a nod from both Lonzo and Denise.

"I'm so mad at him for doing that to Chay" Denise talks first.

"It just shows that he is still a child, but my dad raised him better than this so I'm a lil disappointed" Lonzo says.

"Do you think Cherray is going to forgive him?" Steve asks.

"I don't know, I would have a hard time forgiving Zo if he did something like that. But they can't live without each other" Denise says with a chuckle at the end.

"I mean it's a nasty move from Melo, but he would do anything for her, he may act like he doesn't care about her when they argue but he does. He can fight with every person in the world, but not with her. His entire mood will go down. He prolly won't admit it but the day he loses Cherray, is the day he will lose a piece of himself cuz those two are one person. So even if lil girl ain't forgiving him right now, he won't let her go that easily" Lonzo says while looking into the camera.
