Perishable Part 2

"What do you mean ?" I ask Anna my lab partner. "I think that Damon is dead" she says and I smile. "No, honey.

If those monsters dare kill my baby then Julie Plec better go into witness protection program because I will avenge his death" I say as she helps me clean off our table.

"You are an odd one, Stilinski"she says as I stare at the teacher trying to get the class to be quiet. The bell rings and everyone rushes out of the class like a herd of cows.

I pack my stuff and walk out of the class. "I see Liam walk into another hall and I sigh. "You okay?" Scott asks from behind me and I turn to face him.

"I'm great" I say putting on my best fake smile and he gives me a look as if he knows i'm lying.

"Your heartbeat says otherwise" he says as everyone is already in their ext period and we are the only two in the hall.

I grab his hand and pull him outside in front of the school steps and he sits with me. "Now tell me what's wrong?" he asks and I sigh.

"Everything. I'm a freak who can shoot flames, my boyfriend is acting like I don't exist. Crazy Kate is on the loose and people are trying to kill me and my friends.

Everything is not okay." I say putting my face into my hands as he rubs my back.

"Tell me it gets easier, Scott" I say. "Do you want me to lie?" he asks as I lift my face up and stare at the clouds. "No"I say and he smiles.

"You know, I never thought this would be how my life turned out. I always thought us girls grow up to fall in love get married, have kids and come home to complain abut their days but tell jokes to make the other feel better.

But here I am risking my life for what?" I ask standing up and throwing my hands up gesturing to everything around us

. "Your doing it so that we can protect the ones we love and the people in this town" he says looking disappointed. "What if I die?" I ask.

"Don't say that " he says and I laugh humorlessly. " It's okay though because I've been thinking about it and maybe dying isn't so bad" I say and his mouth goes wide. "What are you talking about" he says.

"Everything could be over. I could be with Allison, Aiden and even my mom" I say as a tear leaves his eye and he quickly wipes it.

"Where is this coming from?" He asks and I shrug. "It's just a feeling" I say as we walk back up the steps and into the school building again. He grabs my shoulders making me face him.

"Promise me you won't do something stupid to get yourself killed" he says and I nod.

"I promise" I say and he nods kissing my forehead and walking off as the bell rings and everyone comes out of their classes and into the hall.

At the Bonfire

"This is fun" Anna says and I nod as we dance to the music. "Thanks for coming with me" I say and she smiles. "That's what friends are for" she says and I nod.

I just realize that I don't really have any friends , well that are in my grade level and are non supernatural or don't know about the creatures lurking in Beacon Hills.

Anna is a nice person though and we have a lot in common. " How are you and Liam ?" she asks as we dance. "He is ignoring me for some reason but when he is ready to talk, I will be waiting" I say and she nods.

"Well, at least you have a boyfriend" she says. "Mason is single" I joke. "We both like guys" she says and I laugh.

"He is so sweet though"I say. Looking to see if any of my supernatural friends have showed up. "Drink up" a guy says handing me a cup of alcohol. I look at it and then down it. I crush the cup and throw it.

"I'm gonna go walk around" I say and Anna nods as I leave the crowd. I see Liam and Mason talking as they sit on a bench and I frown as he gets up. I walk over to him. "Liam" I say and he turns to look at me.

"Hey Sephora"he says looking a little drunk. "It's Sofia" I correct him and he nods. "Right" he says getting more alcohol .

Werewolves can't get drunk but why is he acting this way. Liam lets the drink down and walks back over to Mason.

He starts to stumble and I grab onto him helping him stand. "You are a good girlfriend" Liam says kissing my nose. "Well, you are not being a good boyfriend right now" I say looking to see Scott talking to a drunken Malia.

Scott walks over to us setting Malia on the other end of the bench and gives her water. "How much has he had to drink?" Scott asks Mason as he stares at Liam.

"Not enough to get him like this" Mason says as I stare at Liam worried.

"Somethings happening, we have to get them out of here. I think we have to um-"Scott says acting weird and staring at his hand. "How much did you drink ?" I ask Scott. "Nothing" Scott says shaking his head.

"Not even a sip" he adds as he leans on the bench."Then what's happening?" I ask confused. "It's not the drinks, it's the music" Scott says staring at the dj.

"I have to , I have to turn off the music. Don't let them out of your sight" Scott tells Mason and I . We both nod as he walks off.

"This day has just gone from bad to worse" I say sitting next to Liam. After a few minutes a guy dresses two guys dressed up as security grad Liam and Malia. "Let's go"Th bald one says.

"Hey, what are you doing these are my friends" Mason says. "your friends are overly intoxicated and need to be escorted out" The bald guy says as I look around for Scott. "Okay, I'll go with them"Mason says. "That won't be necessary " The bald guy says.

"I said there my friends" Mason says and the guy pushes Mason down. "Put my boyfriend down or so help me god" I say to the guy but he pushes me down and my head hits the edge of the bench and I am out like a light.
