I.E.D. Part 1

"So the Walcotts were the first, at least the first that we know about. Four murders, Sean, his brother and their parents. They were killed by a professional assassin called 'The Mute'. Weapon of choice, a military Tomahawk, but then The Mute was killed by Peter Hale after he tried to blow up Derek with a Clay more Mine.

Next was Demarco, he delivered a keg to the party at Lidia's Lake House and he got decapitated outside of his car. And then last night 23 year old Carrie Hudson"Stiles tells my dad as we stand around his desk at the station.

"Its a Dead Pool, uh, a hit list of supernatural creatures. This is only part of it, the rest still has to be decoded"Scott tells my dad as he shows him the list we printed out. "Who found this list?"Dad asks. "Lydia"I say. "How?". "She wrote it, actually she transcribed it without realizing it "Stiles explains.

"Banshee?" "Banshee!"Stiles tells dad. "Beautiful. Alright what, what are these numbers next to the names?". "Well were getting to that, first you need to know that the code was broken with a Cipher key"I tell dad. "Wait a minute, like a, like a key word?" he asks.

"It was actually a name"Stiles tells him. "Allison"Scott says and the room goes silent as sympathetic glances are shared amoungst us four. "Her name broke the third of the list"Stiles tells dad. "And uh, we think there's two other Cipher keys"Scott adds.

"Which will help give us the rest of the names, okay. So how do we get the Cipher key?"Dad asks. "Same way we got the code"I say. "Lydia, shes been at the Lake House all weekend trying to find the other to key words"Scott says.

"You didn't know about Demarco or Carrie?"Dad asks us and we nod no. "Alright, what about these other names. Kayleen Bettcher and Elias Town ? They werewolves too?"he asked. "I don't know, but Deaton said that the Nemeton would draw supernatural creatures here" Scott says.

"Here being Beacon Hills or Beacon County, the population of Beacon Hills is just under 30,000"Dad says. "And dropping"Stiles adds.

"But if we're talking Beacon County then your looking at closer to 500,000. Look, How many werewolves, Banshees, Kitsunes and what ever the hell else is out there are we talking about and what happens if the next Cipher key uncovers not 12 names but a hundred?".

"We don't think there will be that many, there's a limit"I tell him. "Because of the numbers.We think that once we decode the names, the numbers will add up to 117"Scott says. "117 what?" dad asks.

"Million" Scott says as Stiles writes M's and K's next to the numbers that would either a million dollars or a thousand.

"117 million dollars dad, stolen from the Hale vault and is being used by someone to finance all these murders"Stiles says.

"Somebody wants every supernatural in Beacon Hills dead" Scott says. "So a coded list goes out and somehow these professional assassins get that list "dad says. "And the Cipher Key"Stiles adds.

"And they go after the names on the list, 'they' being killers with no mouths, tomahawks, thermo cut wires that can take your head off "Dad says.

"Carrie was also stabbed"Stiles said showing us the picture and around the stab wounds was a mark. "What's this mark?"Stiles asks.

"I'm not sure, still waiting on the M.E.'s report. There's one other thing that I still don't get, How did the new assassin know that Demarco was going to be at the Lake House?" dad asks.

"Everyone knows who delivers kegs to teenagers for extra cash "Scott says. "uh huh, So who ever ordered that keg killed Demarco"Dad says."It was someone at the party"My brother says. "A student"Scott and I say at the same time.

I got up and changed into my clothes and let my hair down. As I was putting on my makeup my dad walked into my room. "Hey daddy"I smile.

"Hey Princess"he says giving me a worried look. "What's wrong ?"I ask. "I worry about you and your brother" he says. "You shouldn't we have been doing this for quite a while now and we are still standing "I say adding my lipstick.
