* It is a ritual in which the father of bride give a silver bowl fill with rice along with some money as Shagun ...
This ritual is a sign that bride side is accepting the groom as his son and bride's parents have full faith that groom will perform all his responsibilities with honesty and he will accept the bride's family as his own...
In this ritual priest chant some mantra and both groom and bride's father / brother sit together at opposite side and perform the rituals according to priest saying and lastly they feed sweet and paan with their hands to each other and hug each other... *
