The quad of girls were out roaming the hallways with their precious snacks in their arms. Richelle had the good idea of wandering around to figure out where everything was. Guin tagged along due to the prankster in her from living with her brothers. Ro came because she didn't want to deal with her brother's looks of betrayal. Susy tagged with them because she didn't want to be alone. Of course, Richelle was very observant and she knew all of this ahead of time hence why she suggested it.

They headed towards the great hall when they saw a troll inside the castle. Susan started to freak out. Riles looked at her and put her finger to her lips as she motioned for them to hide. The ravenette saw a little piece of dust fall from the sky and she gasped softly. Rosabelle looks at her with a raised eyebrow. She whispers, "Hermione is in the bathroom crying. She doesn't know!"

Guin gasps, "All because of my idiot brother!" The girls all quietly leaves their hiding spot and rushes towards the girls' bathroom.

Richelle calls, "Hermione? Are you in here?!" They heard the poor girl crying in the bathroom stall. She said softly, "Come on Hermione. There is a troll in the castle!"

The distraught girl complained, "Please don't laugh at me more." The poor child sobs harder.

Richelle sighs and exclaims, "Girl, we're serious! It's a massive troll!"

Hermione demands, "If all you are going to do is make fun of me then leave me alone!" She starts to make her way out of the bathroom to make them go. Susan looks behind her when she heard a faint noise. She was the one further away from the others, so it seemed she was the only one to hear it.

Susan called out to first one that came to mind which was the dramatic ravenette, "Uhhh R-Riles." Richelle pauses in her rant to look at Susan.

She asks, "What Susy?" The other three girls look as well. The four best friends gasps softly as they see the troll standing there behind them. The ravenette joked, "Guess we don't have to worry about sneaking around." Hermione looks up and gasps before hiding away in the bathroom stall. Richelle stands in front of her girls and throws every spell she knows at the beast. Harry and Ron finally emerged from the door leading to the hallway.

Guinevere whined, "It's about time you two showed up!" Harry and Ron are both unsure of what to do.

Rosabelle growled out, "Why don't you two make yourselves useful and help us!" Hermione is trying to say spells to help everyone out. Riles gets hit by the club and sent flying into a wall defending her girls. At the last second before the beast could deliver the fatal blow to unconscious ravenette, Ron performs the wingardium leviosa spell. Susan passes out from fright once the beast is knocked out. Ro and Guin rushes over to Riles to make sure she is alright.

McGonagall, Dracula, and Quirrel rushes into the bathroom since they heard a feminine scream and a loud thud. They see the troll, Riles, and Susy on the ground. McGonagall demands, "What happened in here?" Quirrell is trying his best to not pass out and act like an adult for his students while Dracula sneers at all seven of his students.

Dracula puts in his two sense, "I think it's quite obvious as to what happened here judging from the students that are present right now." As he said that, he looked at each student though it was quite obvious he was paying more attention to the girls then the trio. Specifically, a certain unconscious Gryffindor.

Richelle was a little worse for wares as she had a bit of blood coming from her head and she would definitely have a concussion. Harry was over by the girls freaking out about his sister. McGonagall walks over to her young student and looks at her head.

The head of house for most of the students in the room commanded, "Get her to Madame Pomfrey right away. Severus, Quirrell let's deal with this troll and get it out of here."The unconscious Gryffindor whimpered a little bit in her sleep.

She called out the only name that made her feel safe, "D-Dracula?" McGonagall hears the young girl and is confused at the name before she remembers the nickname the girls have for Severus.

She states, "Severus go with the girls to make sure Miss Potter gets to Madame Pomfrey's. The girls seem a bit frazzled at the moment and they might get lost getting to her." Severus could only nod as he picked the female creature up.

Riles opens one eye and says, "S-Sir? I-It hurts."

Dracula tries to comfort her by saying, "It's only a small concussion. You'll be fine." He stands next to the other girls, since Susy is finally conscious. He added, "All of you need to grab my arm. We'll be apparating to Madame Pomfrey's." He glares at the male ravenette daring him to grab him. The other three girls grab ahold of him and they look at Riles with concern. The other ravenette didn't move from his spot as Dracula apparated to Madame Pomfrey's.

McGonagall states once he left, "It seems as though Severus has a soft spot for those girls." She turns to look at Quirrell, but sees that he has passed out.

Harry responded, "I hope so. They help him out. They balance him. At least, that's what the older students are saying."

McGonagall asked in surprise, "Mr. Potter? I thought you went with them."

Harry questions, "And have Snape kill me? I don't think so professor."

McGonagall nods in understanding adding, "You make a good point, Mr. Potter."

-Meanwhille at Madame Pomfrey's-

Riles clings to Dracula's neck and whimpers, "I-It h-hurts."

Before the dour man could respond, Pomfrey demanded, "What in Merlin's name happened to her Severus?!"

Dracula drawls, "She believed that she could take down a full grown troll on her own." He puts Riles down gently on one of the beds.

Pomfrey sighed and said, "Well, she's in good hands now." The three girls grab chairs and sit by Riles's bed. Riles clings to him some more. Not quite ready to release her savior.

Susy defends her friend, "S-She was just protecting us, sir."

Dracula isn't surprised in the slightest as he reassures the Hufflepuff, "Of course she was. She cares about her friends more than herself." He forces the rash Gryffindor to let him go and he notices the girls got four chairs instead of three. He comments, "I don't think Mr.Potter will be joining you soon. Professor McGonagall is more than likely speaking with the other three at this very second."

Guin rolled her eyes and calmly spoke, "The chair is for you Dracula."

Ro easily followed her friend's lead, "Yeah. You're staying too, right?"

Susy added, "I think Riles wants you to stay here, sir."

Riles confirmed, "Y-Yeah. P-Please D-Dracula." Dracula sighed and sat down.

He begrudgingly accepted, "Fine, staying here is better than going back to the great hall or going to my own chambers." Riles smiles softly at the older Slytherin as her eyes fell closed. The next morning when Dumbledore, the golden trio, Hagrid, Madame Pomfrey, and McGonagall walked into the room, they were not expecting to see the four guest fast asleep beside the patient. The dour man has his arms crossed and his head lulled to one side asleep in the hospital chair. The three girls are all sleeping next to him. Susy is on the other side of the bed with her head and arms beside Riles. Guin and Ro are leaning on Dracula's shoulders snoring softly. While the patient herself, is wide awake reading her potion's text book with a small smile on her lips.

She looked up at the new members in the room and quietly puts a finger to lips with a small smile before snapping a photo of her group of friends. The child had obviously been awake for a while and she was patiently waiting for her friends to join her in the land of consciousness. Harry watches his sister in interest considering his twin was not known for her patience. Meanwhile, Madame Pomfrey, McGonagall, Hagrid, and Dumbledore look at the group of five and they try to figure out how the four girls could have made Severus turn so soft on them.
