My phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw Ryuji's name and a text. He was asking Spectra to help them.

Ryuji - We need to steal the treasure by the 29th, if not Akira and I get suspended.

You want my help?

Ryuji - We want to make sure nothing goes wrong. We don't wanna become murderers.

When?

Ryuji - Tomorrow.

All right.

4/27 After School

I hurried to the Palace, knowing the others would be waiting for me there. They were waiting in one of the safe rooms for me, the one closest to where the Treasure was being held. Then we went to steal it. It had turned into a giant crown.

"Aww yeah! The Treasure has appeared!" Mona said.

"Man, it's huge!" Skull said.

"What do you think? It's just as I said. Now we can steal it! Ahh... the shine brings tears to my eyes"

"It kinda pisses me off," Panther said. "Why is it so pretty? Isn't this Kamoshida's desires?"

"T-treasure"

"Uh, the cat's acting awfully excited," Skull pointed out.

"What's wrong? Is something-" Panther asked but stopped herself.

"Meeeoooowww!" Mona exclaimed, clinging to the treasure.

"You're way too excited," Joker stated.

Mona simply kept meowing like a cat.

"Alright, that's enough you stupid cat," Skull told him.

"Oh, um, yeah. Forgive me for displaying such an insolent sight in front of ladies..."

"You were completely out of character too. What was that about?" Panther asks.

"I couldn't stop it either. To think I'd be drawn to human desires this much... doesn't that prove that I'm human?!"

"How should we know!?" Skull asks.

"A-anyway, you guys need to carry it"

"All you do is bark orders... still, that was easier than I thought. I thought for sure there'd be some insane trap or something"

"There probably is one waiting for us, so we should hurry up," I snap.

"His Palace will disappear if we take this back, right? And Kamoshida will change too," Panther questions.

"That should be the case," Mona responds.

"Good. Now's our chance then," Skull said.
