9/6 Afternoon
Ryuji - Aw, yeah! This time tomorrow, we're gonna be in Hawaii!
Hawaii?
Makoto - That's right, you missed the first couple days of school. How are you feeling now?
Not sick, so that's good. I heard about a school trip but didn't think to figure out where. I've been busy catching up on school work. Which reminds me, we're all in the middle of class.
I put away my phone and got back to working on what we were doing, ignoring all the notifications that kept popping up from the group chat.
9/7 Evening
"I'm so sleepy," Ann said with a yawn.
"It'll take over 6 hours to get there, so why not sleep on the plane?" Makoto suggests.
"I'll do that..."
"It's almost time to check in"
"Phew, looks like it's gonna take off on time. I feel like a lot of flights headed to America tend to run late or get cancelled... is it just me or is Ryuji not here yet?"
Ryuji came running over to us, stopping with his hand on his knees trying to catch his breath. "I wasn't expectin' to make a mad dash like this..."
"Coming late even on a day like this?"
"That's all you're bringing?" Makoto asks, looking at the backpack on his back.
"It's only four nights, right? Ain't it enough?" Ryuji asks.
"Maybe for you," Akira says.
"See?"
"I think that was sarcasm," Makoto says.
"Why don't we take a group shot before we take off?" Ann suggests.
"Ooh, sounds good!" Ryuji agrees.
Akira pulled out his phone and we all gathered together, getting a picture. But then Akira's phone buzzed, he got a text from Futaba.
Futaba - Ryuji, you've got crap in your eyes.
"What?" Ryuji asked then rubbed his eyes. "Holy shit, she's right..."
"How could you tell, Futaba?" Ann asks.
Futaba - You surprised? I snuck an app on Akira's phone. I can see all I want through his camera! You're looking now, right Akira? Mwehehe. You can't underestimate the original Medjed.
"Talk about a nasty trick," Ryuji says.
"I am so glad she's not an enemy of ours," Makoto says.
9/8 Daytime
"Yes! We're here! Hawaiiiii!" Ryuji exclaimed.
