10/25 Afternoon

I bumped into Akechi when I walked into the school for the spring fair. He was the last person I wanted to see, but Dove and Raven both told me I shouldn't just ignore him.

"Would you like me to accompany you around the festival?" He asked.

I smiled faintly. "Sure"

We walked around, me remaining silent most of the time while he spoke about his findings about the Phantom Thieves, and eventually we found the others sitting at a table.

"Hey, guys," I said to them with a small smile.

"Yuki? What are you doing with Akechi?" Ann asks.

"We bumped into each other on the way in," Akechi answered.

Akechi was beside me, standing pretty closely to me. I noticed some food on the table in a basket, taking one of the different coloured things out of it.

"Can I have this?" I asked.

"Go ahead, but-"

"Thanks," I say, cutting Ann off from the rest of her sentence.

Before I could eat it Akechi leaned over and ate it all in one bite. I scoffed but grabbed the only other one that looked like the one I wanted, eating it quickly before Akechi could. The others looked at us strangely.

"Did someone else want those two? I could order some more"

"No, we didn't want those," Akira tells me.

Akehi's face flushed and he put a hand over his mouth, trying to remain calm. My mouth started to feel a little hot, but it wasn't something that I couldn't handle.

"If you'll excuse me," Akechi said, going to run off.

"You don't find that spicy?" Ryuji asks me.

"I love spicy foods, I've gotten used to it"

10/26 Afternoon

I walked onto the stage beside Akechi, passing a shocked looking Makoto. It was probably because I looked like I was in the Metaverse, with my confidence, my long hair, and no glasses.

"Spectra?" I heard Ryuji whisper.

I glanced up at where him and Akira were standing on the balcony. Ryuji was clutching onto the railing like he wanted to jump down from it, run over to me, and see what was going on.

"You can't get involved with them at the moment. Think about this rationally," Dove said.

"You don't need to pay much attention to the beautiful lady behind me, I am still on the job and she's helping me with the case," Akechi explained to the crowd. "I feel kind of bad, considering how many people gathered... I'm sure you all would've been happier to have a singer or a mascot appear, wouldn't you say?"

The audience laughed and Makoto spoke as the laughter died down. "We'd appreciate it if you could tell us about your experiences with the notorious Phantom Thieves. It'd be wonderful if you could let us hear more about your actual investigative process"

"I'm not used to being the one interrogated, so please go easy on me," the audience laughed once again.

As Makoto pressed Akechi for answers she got an answer she wasn't expecting, that he had figured out the identity of the Phantom Thieves. I knew he wasn't lying because he had somehow found me.
