Ren smiled as she stood in front of the two classes 1 A and B. This was her first class of the school year. Really, this was the only class she would be teaching, Hero Law. Ren would be teaching this class once a week, well three times a week, every week. Mondays she would teach third years, Wednesdays second years and Fridays the first years. this class would only take place as an eighth period class for those in the hero course only.  During school hours, first through seventh period, she would be the school career councilor.

Ren had been on a mission until yesterday afternoon so even though she was supposed to have already had two classes she had not. She had given her curriculum to a sub who only had to give them a test. Ren wanted to know what each of her students knew before they started. She needed to know where to start and what her second and third years still needed to learn. She was sure many of the students were missing out on a lot of important information.

"Hello class, my name is Yagi Ren and I will be your Hero Laws teacher. This is a new class and you will be the first to experience it. Usually hero laws is taught during your hero lessons but to give you all more time studying the best way to defeat a villain or rescue a civilian we have decided to split the class up. So once a week both hero courses will meet here and spend and hour with me. This class is an eighth period class so it will not interfere with your normal classes."

An orange haired girl in the back raises her hand. "UM, Yagi Sensei, are you by any chance related to All Might sensei?" The girl asks as she leans forward in her chair. "It's just that.. well you both have the same last name."

"I don't see how that has anything to do with our class but if you must know Toshi is my husband." She smiles, "now lets get back to what I was trying to say before. So this year I will be teaching you all the basics of heroic laws. I will teach you about the five main tenets of being a hero along with the types of hero license one can obtain. The tenets are not laws set forth by the government but by the hero's themselves,"

"I didn't know there were different types of hero licenses?" Ren listens to them chatter. "There are five tenets created by hero's?" The students discuss amongst themselves. Ren smiles and watches them, she's glad they are going to take an interest in her class.

"Now, I know none of you will be happy about what is about to happen." She grimaces and grabs a stack of papers. "But I need to know what you know and what I can still teach you. So you will all be taking a quiz. It will not be a grade, its just to see what I need to teach you." most of the class groans loudly.

"Hey! Come on guys. I promise you will love this class." She smiles and starts passing out papers. "You'll get to go on fieldtrips. You'll get to help me first hand with my investigations. I will personally introduce you to some amazing underground hero's who will tell you their stories. You will all get to meet some of my contacts and... come break I will offer a 'fieldtrip' to everyone. I wont tell you just yet about that last bit." She smiles at them all once they've all gotten their papers.

"But its our first class. I figured we'd be going over a syllabus or something.." One of the girls whine pathetically.

"Shut the fuck up!" Katsuki growls at the girl. "Just take the damn quiz."

"Thank you Katsu, I can take it from here." Ren turns to the girl. "If you have complaints on how I teach my class take it up with the principal. If you do not think this class will be beneficial then leave. I will warn you now, those who do not show up will not get a hero license. Without my signoff none of you will be allowed to take the provisional. So think long and hard before you walk out, this is your future after all." Everyone who had previously been complaining has shut up by now.

"Good. Now I don't want to be a grouch like my brother, Aizawa. But, I will be if I have to. I want us all to enjoy my class but it is not something I need and it's not likely to happen if you are going to act like that. I am not my husband, I will not wear the kid gloves with you all. You want to be heroes then I will teach you what it means to be heroes. I will show you the good, the bad and the ugly. You will most likely hate my class at least a fourth of the time. There will be days where all you want to do is quit and walk out. There will be days where you wont want to believe what I'm teaching you. But to become a hero you need to know everything." Ren leans against her desk.
