Option 2 part 1

You chose (drum roll!) option number two! So now, be prepared. The next few chapters are a little emotional. You have been warned. Tell me what you think!
I am also going to apologize now, I'm not good at writing fight scenes. So I made it as short as possible. I hate writing them and I've never been good at it. Anyway, here you go!

Ren growled in anger as she stood in the train car waiting to get moving again. Apparently there had been a villain that took blocked the rail way and now they had to clean up a mess before they could get moving. She really didn't have time for this, she was going to be late. There was no way she could be late seeing as she was meeting Rogues older brother Gajeel along with their lawyers. If they could sort things out before the court date then things would run smoothly, otherwise it was going to be a fight, and Ren had no problem fighting for her children.

"Fuck this." She grumbled under her breath before moving towards the door carefully. The train was packed and Ren was starting to get claustrophobic. She had never been good with large crowds and small places.

"Are you alright miss?" A young man asks her in a soft voice. Aki turns and smiles at a short brown haired male. His features were soft and he looked all around kind.

"I have an extremely important appointment I can't miss." She admits as he steps back to avoid being run over by a brute like man. She hisses under her breath and puts her hand on her stomach as if to shield her baby from the man.

"Oh? Ultrasound?" He asks as he smiles. His eyes track her hand with a found look in his eyes, obviously a father.

"No," Ren speeks and moves so she's finally in front of the door. "Problems with an adoption process." She huffs and hits a button on the side of the door and waits for it to open.

"Oh? well I hope things go well at this appointment of yours." The man continues to smile.

"Thank you."

Ren stops dead in her tracks. She's only two blocks from where she is to meet Gajeel and the lawyers. but she swears she heard something in the alley. She closes her eyes and goes to take a step forward when she hears it again, a grunt of pain followed by a loud bang. Just her fucking luck, right? Of course someone is hurt or being attacked. It's not like she promised her husband she would stay out of trouble or that she's pregnant. But she's a hero, she can't just walk away.

Ren growls before making her way down the alley. She stops dead in her tracks, eyes wide as she sees Stain, Akaguro Chizome, her old partner in crime. She swallows hard before allowing a whip to form in her hand. She snaps it out and catches the mans wrist as he tries to bring down his hand and stab the other man in the back.

Ren takes a second to fully look over the scene before her and flinches. She's glad she didn't ignore it now that she sees who is lying before Stain. Iida Tensei, Ingenium, older brother to Iida Tenya her student, friend to her brother. She licks her lips before lifting her eyes to Stain.

"Run!" Iida grunts, not wanting anyone else to get hurt or die.

"No can do Iida. I wouldn't be able to call myself a hero if I walked away from someone in need. Besides I wouldn't be able to look your little brother in the eyes if I left you here to die." Ren yanks the whip towards her making Stain stumble her way.

Stain glares and snarls as he brings his knife down on her whip and cuts it. He stands tall and stares her down. "I do not wish to harm you, Recluse. You are a true hero, you fight for what is right. But you are stepping into matters that do not concern you."

"Well I have always been a bit nosey." Ren shrugs and allows two sword to appear in her hands. She twirls them before moving forward to attack. She's slower, she notes as she brings her right sword down towards the man before her. He blocks it but she doesn't falter. Ren twirls around and brings her other sword forward but it is as if Stain can read her movements. He blocks it and elbows her in the face.
