"yoooong let's take a break." y/n complained.

"okay boss." taeyong immediately saved the file and closed the laptop.

"does my baby want to eat something?" taeyong said while pinching her cheek. taeyong always called her baby, babe, love, sweetie, pumpkin, anything you can think of but it never made y/n blush, not even once.

"no i just want to rest my eyes for a bit." y/n sat back and rested her head on the couch. taeyong who sat beside her leaned his head back too and stared at y/n's face while she was taking a nap. this went on for minutes.

"why do you always watch me sleep?" she mumbles while her eyes were still closed which surprised taeyong.

"oh sorry babe!"

"pffft. you keep calling me all sorts of names."

"and why do you think i do that?" taeyong's patience really was running out at this point. how dumb can this girl get?does she still really not know that i have a raging crush on her? he thought.

"i dunno?you like teasing me i guess." she said. her eyes still closed.

"no i don't like teasing you i just like you. just you. all of y/n." taeyong said out of frustration.

y/n opened her eyes and looked at taeyong with a confused look on her face.

"what?" she said then sat up straight while looking at him. "did you just say you like me?"

"y-yeah." taeyong sat up straight too. y/n looked forward and was frozen in her seat.

"are you like, serious?" she asked taeyong.

"i've never been more serious in my life." taeyong said.

"liar."

"i'm not lying."

"you lied again."

"what?no!"

"see. another lie." y/n said and taeyong was getting kind of annoyed now. he held both sides of y/n's shoulders and made her face him.

"i like" he pointed to himself. "y/n" then he pointed to y/n. "my heart" he pointed his index finger at his heart "goes crazy when i see your smile" he used both of his index fingers to push up the corners of y/n's lips. "my brain" he pointed at his head "can't stop thinking of you" then pointed back at y/n again.

y/n just blinked a few times while staring innocently at taeyong. taeyong slumped back feeling defeated.

"since when?" she asked.

"since day 1"

"why are you telling me just now then?" she asked again.

"idiot. i've been hinting at it for about three years now."

"but you date other people." she said.

"it was never serious and they know that."

"does that mean you're not going to take me seriously too?" she looked a little sad.

"you're the only girl i ever plan to be serious with." taeyong admitted.

"pfffft. stop playing."

"why won't you believe me?" taeyong asked with a sad tone in his voice.

"well" y/n seemed hesitant to say "aren't i little,no,very out of your league?"

"what makes you think that?"

"well you're like incredibly good looking,smart,funny,rich,popular-"

"that's so many adjectives." taeyong laughed

"i know right???" y/n laughed too.

"you pretty, and smart and funny and kind, the kindest person i've ever met." taeyong said.

"it's not like i'm dumb,i've noticed your advances but i just never let myself assume anything." y/n admitted.

"you're dummy" taeyong chuckled. "but i'm still crazy about you."

y/n smiled at taeyong lovingly which made taeyong's heart rate increase 10x more. y/n faced taeyong and grabbed his shoulders the way he did to her earlier and made him face her.

"i" she pointed to herself "like taeyong" she pointed at him. "taeyong's smile" she pushed the corners of taeyong's lips like he did earlier "makes my heart jump of out my chest." she put her hand by her heart. "taeyong" she pointed at taeyong again "makes me the happiest when he's around" she booped the tip of taeyong's nose which made him giggle.

taeyong pulled her to him and suddenly hugged her really tightly.

"y-yongie i c-can't breathe." she kept tapping taeyong's back.

"oh sorry!" then he let her go from his bear hug.

"so" y/n tilted her head pointing at the table where their laptops were "back to work?"

taeyong nodded and smiled. he put his arm around y/n's waist happily and y/n smiled while she was typing away.
