Chapter 8: Safe And Sound

The brothers arrived at Athens International Airport. Everyone that walked past them greeted, “Oh my, I forgot just how beautiful Greek women are!” Phillip said with a goofy grin

“We’re here for other matters!” Zac said whilst turning his phone on. After a few seconds of swiping through notifications, he frowned and dialed a number

Phillip and Henry waited as Zac spoke on the phone. “What do you think that’s about?” Phillip asked. Henry shrugged his response

Zac hung up and rubbed the bridge of his nose, “We have to go back, the Titans took some humans as bait to get us...”

“No surprise to which humans they took” Phillip said

“Tony said its Primrose and her friends; they feel because she was with us the night on the stands that we’ll come again”

“So why can’t one of the others get them?” Henry asked

“They want us…we have to go back” Zac frowned

“I should have taken him when I had the chance!” Henry said

“Bro…we still have the upper hand, we know who they are but they can’t say the same for us” Phillip said

“I’ll book our return flights” Zac said whilst heading back

“I’m sure they’ll come for them…those brothers!” Elijah spat

“The only difference is that this time, they’ll be the ones outnumbered” Mia said

“We’ve waited days on end…where are they?” Ian asked

“They’re merely gifted humans, they need all the time they can get” Phoebe laughed

“Just make sure the humans are fed and kept alive, those brothers will be here…before them being missing arouses any suspicion” Elijah said whilst leaving

“Wakey wakey!” Adam said whilst waking the gang up. One by one, they all started to get up, as the rest of the titans walked in

“This place is hell!” Dante’ said whilst looking at his dark and dusty surroundings and trying to untie the ropes that bound his hands behind his back. His friends were trying as well

“Trust me sweetie, this place is heaven compared to hell” Mia laughed

“What do you want from us?” Kristen asked.

“It’s always the same questions from you lot, since we brought you here…why…where…bla bla bla” Phoebe said

“Please” Kristen begged, “Tell us why we’re here”

“Simple actually, you guys are the bait!” Patrick said

“For what?” Carmen asked

“That you don’t need to know” Tina said

“Why are you so quiet- you haven’t asked anything since you got here…don’t you have any questions?” Elijah asked Primrose

“Just one, what the hell are you?” Primrose asked

“Mind your tongue mortal!” Patrick said

“Why should I? I’m not scared of you, and I sure as hell ain’t scared of you!” Primrose directed at Elijah

Elijah then grabbed her of the ground with one hand and held her by the throat, “You should be!” he whispered

“Elijah…you said that the last time, you threatened to hurt her and they backed down, maybe if we hurt her this time- it would speed up the process!” Mia suggested
